Not buying that. I got tonsil cancer on the same side as my heavy cell phone use. I did not fit the profile. Never smoked, or drank alcohol. I gave up my cell phone, microwave, and all dental xrays. Also there is an increase in tonsil cancer among children. ENT s are studying this.

I am writing on behalf of the home owners, residents, workers, churchgoers and persons using the leisure activities near to the location of the proposed telecommunications tower at 4128 Line 36, RR5, Stratford.

There is considerable scientific evidence to show that exposure to microwave radiation such as from the proposed telecommunications tower causes various cancers, many serious illnesses and several significant biological effects to people. There is also evidence that properties located near to cell phone antennas suffer from a large devaluation in property value.

If Perth East Council allows construction of this tower without vigorously defending the health, safety and property rights of the residents and others who will be affected, you may cause very significant liabilities to yourselves and all residents of Perth East.

If the tower is eventually forced upon you by Industry Canada, you should demand that the company involved, provides a very large bond of many millions of dollars, to pay for possible future liabilities including, legal expenses, medical expenses for persons harmed by radiation from the antennas and for property devaluation. That property devaluation may include the large residential development area to the south and west of the proposed tower, as new house buyers are less likely to purchase near to a communications tower.

Criticism of the article in the British Medical Journal

BMJ: Use of mobile phones and risk of Brain Tumour: update of Danish cohort study

In last week concluded Jorgen H. Olsen, head of research in Cancer, the use of mobile phones does not increase the risk of brain cancer.

The conclusion is based on the largest cohort study (observational study in which a study group followed over time) of cancers among mobile users who goes back to the 1990s when the first cell phones came out.

But the study did not include 200,000 mobile users who have had the phone made available through the work.

Instead, people ended up in the category called 'non-mobile users.'

It meets international criticism.

'The exclusion of the 200,507 business users - mobile users, who presumably must be considered as heavy users - seems remarkable. Especially when users mistakenly shows up in the category of users who have not been exposed to mobile radiation,' says Robert Baan to ing.dk. He is responsible publication in WHO s IARC working group on mobile phone radiation.

Earlier this year established a working group called 2B-risk assessment of mobile phone radiation, because the working group found that among the most active mobile users had a small increased risk of developing brain cancer.

Also in the British Medical Journal s own website where the survey from Cancer Society is published, a number of people with strong criticism of the study.

'The limitations of the study makes meaningful analysis and conclusions virtually impossible,' writes the British NGO Power Watch.

Power Watch criticizes, among other things, that the study does not take into account the many people who receive the mobile phone provided on the job, and are likely to be among the most active users, but there is also criticism that you know nothing about how much people actually used the phone.

The reason that the study did not include the 200,000 users with business phone, is that the study is based on early subscription records from mobile operators from the 1990s.

Using social security numbers has been possible to follow the early subscribers over time to see if there was an increased tendency for the later life was affected by brain cancer.

But workers with business phone is not registered with personal and therefore has not been possible to follow their development of this group.

Although they represent 30 percent of the total subscription base, is the 200,000 people in the study ended in the group of 'non-mobile users'.

Havas etc. All of them have confirmed that they have not been invited at this conference.

As we know, the exponential rise of electrosmog in the past decade in every house, school and city has become a major threat to public health. The health of children, millions of electrosensitives and future generations is at stake here! The politicians and the general public need to realize that public health is the utmost important and act accordingly.

Thats' why during the conference we will protest at the entrance of the EU Parliament on Wednesday the 16th of November.

We demand:

- much less electrosmog with a regulation that fully applies the precautionary principle
- recognition of electrohypersensitivity as a functional impairment (as in Sweden)

Coming hard on the heels of the flawed Danish cohort study (see previous messages) the spin doctors are out of their bat caves proclaiming in the media that this now proves that mobile phones are safe. Exampled here are the claims made by Rodney Croft, former head of the defunct ACRBR/TELSTRA collaboration. (Highly recommended reading: http://www.emfacts.com/download/A_Machiavellian_Spin_Sept_2010.pdf )

It doesn t take much for Croft to come out in the media with claims that a recent study proves mobile phones are safe and that Australian neurosurgeons who think otherwise are deluding themselves. Perhaps being a professor of health psychology he should offer some group therapy to help the neurosurgeons overcome their delusions?..

Note where he claims that 'there has been a lot of talk about with the increase in mobile phone usage that there has also been an increase in brain tumours. And I think that this suggests that those kind of statements aren t very accurate:

Wrong Rodney, its more than just talk. See the paper published in Neuro-Oncology 13(7):783?790, 2011: A multicenter study of primary brain tumor incidence in Australia (2000?2008). To quote: 'A significant increase in primary malignant brain tumors from 2000 to 2008 was observed?'.

Being the former head of the defunct ACRBR/TELSTRA collaboration he should know how to analyze a study properly and to recognize its limitations and report the facts accurately before running off to the media saying all is well. As they used to say in the Wild West, being quick on the draw is fine, provided you don?t shoot yourself in the foot?..

Die Wirkung von Magnetresonanz-Geräten auf menschliche Lymphozyten wurde mit verschiedenen Methoden im Labor untersucht und es kam heraus, dass signifikante Schädigungen des genetischen Materials auftreten; sowohl Chromosomen-Aberrationen als auch Erhöhung der Mikrokern-Anzahl und von DNA-Strangbrüchen wurden gefunden. Magnetresonanz-Untersuchungen haben in den letzten Jahren stark zugenommen und mögliche Gesundheitsrisiken sind nicht ausgeschlossen, da das bildgebende Magnetresonanz-Verfahren (MRI) heute ein starkes statisches Feld (0 Hz, 3 Tesla), einen Magnetfeld-Gradienten von 3?3000 Hz und ein Radiofrequenzfeld von 10?400 MHz nutzt. Two new studies have found that electromagnetic fields from Wi-Fi transmitters can alter electrical brain activity and decrease a measure of attention in young adults when performing a memory task. These are the first reports to look at the effects of Wi-Fi on brain function.

The attractiveness of Wi-Fi as a learning tool in schools is significantly decreased if it could be damaging the cognitive abilities and brain development of pupils.

C.P.R. and Radiofrequency Interference

Yesterday, I took a first aid course to help out my sons? hockey team. All teams are required to have someone trained in first aid in case something happens to a player, or spectator at a game.

During my CPR training, we had to learn how to use and incorporate the portable, battery operated defibulator. At one point after doing the 5 reps of 2x breathing and 30x chest compressions, the defib unit will verbally tell you to stop so it can assess the patient and let you know if you need to send a jolt to the heart. If there is too much floor vibration OR cell phone/RF around, it can prevent the unit of assessing the patient. The instructor (a 20 year paramedic) said, if you ever use the defib always get everyone around you to turn their phones off. He mentioned how every public school in Calgary has these units in the school. I asked how it works with the Wi-fi installed in the schools then, if a student or teacher requires CPR and you need to use the defib unit. He said, 'exactly'. He also said thats? the number one reason why cell phones have to be turned off in hospitals.

This then begs the question?.in schools; do the trained teachers/administrators know that RF needs to be turned off beforehand? Are they going to run around looking for main equipment switch to do that while precious time ticks away for the patient??? With airlines now introducing Wi-Fi in planes?what happens to a person who during a flight needs to have CPR with a defib unit? Do flight attendants realize that the Wi-Fi cant? be on?

This really got me thinking on how I am planning to approach the Calgary Public School board. There doesnt? seem to be anything happening here like Edmonton, or B.C. or Ontario?.but I have teachers I help that suffer from it. I talked during our lunch to a teacher who was also taking the first aid course, and gave me her story about her class having headaches all the time, and how her son who is quiet and calm by nature around home and in social settings, but totally distracted and unruly at school.

I was very alarmed to see the afore-mentioned headline and photo of a baby holding an iphone, then find no mention at all about the serious health effects associated with radio frequency radiation. As a respected and informed journalist, you should be educating your readers on this issue.

In May of this year, this type of radiation emitted by cellphones and other wireless devices was declared a possible class 2B carcinogen. Long before that, epidemiologist Dr. Devra Davis Ph.D, MPH of the Environmental Oncology Unit at University of Pittsburgh warned of the dangers of exposure to these well-loved devices, especially children with their thinner, developing skulls. She has written a book on the subject, 'Disconnect: The Truth About Cellphone Radiation'. There is a growing body of scientific information on the toxicity of radio- frequency radiation by other doctors and researchers, such as Dr. Magda Havas of Trent U., Dr. Sam Milham, MPH, and Dr. David Carpenter, Co-Editor of the Bioinitiative Report ( http://www.BioInitiative.org ) to name a few.

I am a teacher who is currently off work because the wireless routers in the schools make me ill. I have developed Electrical hypersensitivity (EHS), diagnosed at Womens' College Hospital in Toronto.

Perhaps you could follow up on this article, discussing these perils of the technology, not just the social ones. We as a society have the duty to protect our precious children.

Before printing an article of this type, which could harm the health of a great many people, you should first do some basic research. A good place that you could start is the Bio Initiative Report http://www.bioinitiative.org .

You will quickly learn that there is a vast amount of scientific research which shows a great variety of adverse health effects including large increases in several different cancers.

As an editor you have made at least two very significant mistakes

1. You have written something that you want to hear rather than an accurate description of fact.

2. You have quoted 'industry' studies instead of independent studies. This is very similar to asking the cigarette industry: is smoking is safe? The cigarette companies could show you all sorts of scientific studies which they paid for, which show that cigarette smoking is safe, and ignore the other more important studies which show dangers to health.

You may want to look at the final images of Steve Jobs to see what the future may hold for people who are exposed to wireless technology for many years.

I have attached several documents to educate you about the dangers of electro magnetic radiation. I hope that you will inform the students of Calgary University, so that they may protect themselves for the future. If you would like further information, I will gladly provide it.

Retaliation by court because of my electrosensitivity - urgent help needed

I am suffering from electromagnetic sensitivity and I need a NJ attorney or other attorney that can help urgently.

I am writing to you in a plea for help. I was recently involved in a dispute with my land lord who falsely accused me of assaulting her. To make matters worse the police were called and they took my land lords side of the story over mine. As a result I was arrested. I attempted to explain to the officers that I required special accommodations due to my Electrical Hypersensitivity condition. I also offered them medical documentation from my doctor explaining my condition and requirements. However, they ignored my requests and instead concluded that I must suffer from psychiatric condition and admitted me to a psychiatric hospital against my will.

Unknown to my accuser and the police I recorded the entire event on my digital voice recorder. I requested special accommodations because of my disability and was happy for the opportunity to fight the Court for the rights of the electro sensitive. While the court provided some accommodations they were ridiculous, not such that would have allowed me to be there without getting sick. I appealed the decision but the court denied my appeal.

Because I had no time to prepare for court because of constantly dealing with the issue special accommodation appeal, I asked the Court to postpone the eviction case. I also asked the court to postpone the eviction case until the criminal case is over.

The Court tonight at 7pm informed me that it decided to hear both the eviction and the criminal case together ON MONDAY!!! This is not outrageous; this is CRIMINAL to give me 2 days to prepare my defense against criminal charges and not allow me to subpoena witnesses! To combine a civil and criminal case is unheard of!

The Court is retaliating because they messed up my special accommodation request. Yesterday they forced me to court for the first appearance in the criminal case. They were supposed to ensure there is no wi-fi but there were 4 bars of WiFi in the court room according to my WiFi detector. As a result I had increased blood pressure and other symptoms which I documented through a journalist who was present in Court with me. I am prepared to fight these charges but I need to retain an attorney before Friday.

While I have evidence that would prove I am innocent, I did not want to use it before trial to discharge the case because I wanted to use this as a way to fight the issue of special accommodation.

I also wanted to make this a case about the outrageousness of putting people with this condition in psychiatric hospital because ignorant cops/doctors think it does not make sense.

I tried to contact disability organizations and lawyers but they do not want to deal with this as our condition is too complicated and they do not want to bother.

These are truly important issues but I truly need help to fight it. It is an important fight for all of us.

Please help. Most importantly now is to find a lawyer.

Request for health report as cancer cases increase

REPORT OF MEETING WITH MINISTER FOR SCHOOLS

On Friday, 7th October, 2011, I had a meeting with the Schools Minister; with me were: A Primary Schoolgirl, her parents and a University Lecturer. The reason for the meeting was that the girl had no option - in her area - other than to attend a school with WiFi. The parents requested a WiFi-free school.

The Minister suggested looking for a 'Free School'.

I explained (with research documents) that there was no known safe level of microwave irradiation for an embryo, foetus, child, pregnant student or teacher - especially in the first 100 days of pregnancy, when embryonic defence systems are not established. Continuing, I said I had challenged scientists in every country I have lectured - and I have visited a lot of countries - to appear with me, live on TV, and announce this safe level; to date, not one has come forward.

The Minister said he was powerless to order WiFi out of any school, without the say-so of the HPA.

Stressing the known genetic/ovarian damage from microwaving mammalian species, I asked for a meeting with the Prime Minister.

Replying, the Minister said 'You cannot go from being a Teacher to seeing the Prime Minister'.

Concluding, I quoted research on humans during the Cold War, where 47.7% of females suffered miscarriages within the first 8 weeks of pregnancy from deliberate microwaving (at levels lower than that of a classroom of laptops).

The Minister advised writing to him (not more than 3 sides - or it will not be read); thence he would pass it to the HPA.

NB: Does anybody know the whereabouts of Sir William Stewart? Maybe this could be forwarded to him and he could contact the Prime Minister.

Rojales Town Council request the Department of Health epidemiological report that it contains a listing of the number of neighbors who have some type of disease, especially cancer, by detecting an increase in the urban center of this type of ailment. In particular, the high number of women suffering from this disease in the chest and reside in the vicinity of two mobile phone masts.

As explained by the PSOE mayor, Antonio Perez, seeks to know if the municipality is within normal parameters by number of inhabitants in the incidence of cancer and other diseases because 'it is rare that so many cases are taking place and neighbors are alarmed.'

Has been told this means directly from one of the women suffering from breast cancer, the oncologist at the Regional Hospital of Torrevieja which has been shown is surprised by the large number of women in this town that caters for the same ailment. 'I was wondering where he lived, what was Rojales, and I said what s on everyone's mind: What's in urban and mobile antennas Segura river splits into two people,' he explains.

Has been told this means, since 2003 there have been around two mobile phone masts at least 24 people affected by various diseases from cancer to abortions, to premature births, malformations and chronic renal failure, among others. Three residents in the vicinity of the antenna next to the local office of the County Council have already died.

In addition, this antenna, along which lies a few meters from the offices of the local police in Rojales, does not comply with the rules of distance from these facilities to public schools and parks, since it is located a few meters from the Institute of Education Secondary municipal day care child health center and public parks Rojales.

Also outline that in a building attached to the antenna next to the office of the County, home to 17 families, there have been eight cases of cancer and other diseases.

Write a new local ordinance

The Mayor of Rojales, Antonio Perez, said yesterday that he is drafting a new ordinance that will regulate the installation of mobile antennas in the municipality, and where to place 'away from the town' to "give the public a service and at the same time does not harm allegedly health.' On the possibility of forcing mobile companies to remove the two antennas located in the center said that 'it is our intention.' Hence, the wording of the Ordinance. In mid-March 2004 when he began to detect the disease in nearby Rojales the two antennas, the mobile operators then 'dismissed' by a spokesman for the existence of cause and effect between the electromagnetic waves produced by the mobile phone masts and disease detection.

If a cell phone can hurt a child,which it appears Health Canada is concerned about, then why would it not hurt an adult? For instance, if you place a 5 pound veal roast in an oven set the heat at 350 and it takes 2 hours to cook and then you place a 5 pound tough blade roast in the same oven at 350. It will also cook except the latter will take longer! It s just a matter of time.

Warnung vor Hirntumoren bei Kindern auf dem Weltkongress der ISEE in Spanien

Auf den Internetseiten des CREAL (Centre for Research in Environmental Epidemiology; 'Zentrum für Epidemiologische Umweltforschung', Spanien) wurde eine Meldung der spanischen Nachrichtenagentur EFE veröffentlicht, die sich auf Ergebnisse des 23. Weltkongresses der Internationalen Gesellschaft für Umweltepidemiologie ('International Society of Environmental Epidemiology', ISEE) bezieht. Dieser hatte vom 13.-16. September 2011 mit 1200 Experten aus 60 Ländern in Barcelona stattgefunden. In der Meldung heißt es: 'Die Verwendung von Mobiltelefonen könnte Hirntumore bei Kindern verursachen. Umweltepidemiologie-Experten raten deshalb zur Benutzung von Freisprecheinrichtungen (Ohrhörer oder Lautsprecher), um zu vermeiden, dass das Gerät mit dem Ohr in Kontakt kommt. Weiterhin empfehlen sie, das Handy gegebenenfalls in einer sicheren Entfernung zu halten.' Diese Warnung ist laut Medienbericht bei der genannten Veranstaltung gegeben worden.

Einer der Organisatoren des Kongresses und Direktor des CREAL, Manolis Kogevinas, erklärte gegenüber EFE, dass 'es bereits Nachweise von Effekten nichtionisierender Strahlung von Mobiltelefonen gebe'. Es habe bei dem Treffen jedoch keine neuen Erkenntnisse gegeben. Kogevinas wies auf die bereits angelaufene Multicenterstudie MOBI-KIDS hin, eine im 7. Rahmenprogramm der Europäischen Kommission geförderte und vom CREAL koordinierte epidemiologische Fall-Kontroll-Studie in 13 Ländern, die den möglichen Zusammenhang zwischen Kommunikationstechnologien sowie anderen Umweltfaktoren und dem Auftreten von Hirntumoren in jungen Menschen untersucht.
