I am sorry I somehow missed your email. I presume you are aware that the radiation from Cell phones, Cell phone towers, TV and FM towers, Wi-fi, etc are harmful to the human body. And if precautions are not taken immediately, can lead to serious health hazards.
I and Prof Girish Kumar from IIT Bombay have been working extensively in this field. I am sending two reports:
1. First report is on General Bio-effects of Electromagnetic Radiation, where Prof. Kumar has also mentioned in the preface about his personal experience of health effected due to his working in the antenna measurement for now nearly 3 decades.
2. Second report is on Cell Tower radiation effect, where we have described theoretical and measured radiation level, new norms being proposed in the world, and biological effects.

As I met him last year, I was impressed by his energy and his ideas. His knowledge of the literature on mobile telephony was unrivalled. He had many contacts, not only in Switzerland, but to people all over the English speaking world, too. He used to end his letters with: Mayday, Mayday, the emergency signal of the radio operators. He is right!
He was fully aware of what might happen to him soon, a seriously sick electrosensitive person, but he kept fighting uncompromisingly which might have contributed to his rather lonesome life, besides the EHS condition.

Mayor Gavin Newsom's proposed legislation requiring cell phone retailers in San Francisco to disclose Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) values for radiation emitted by the cell phones they sell passed out of the City Operations & Neighborhood Services Committee after a hearing today. Supervisors Carmen Chu and John Avalos voted to send it to the full Board with a recommendation in favor of its passage, while Supervisor Sean Elsbernd voted no.
There was significant opposition to the legislation from the San Francisco small business community and the San Francisco Small Business Commission voted against taking legislative action in April. The wireless industry's most powerful lobbying organization, CTIA, was also on hand to speak against the legislation.
However, Supervisor Chu, who was the swing vote on this particular Committee, ultimately voted in favor after her concerns about the costs involved and the burdens on small businesses were addressed to her satisfaction.

TENANT IS SEEKING 100% ABATEMENT OF RENT DUE TO CELL TOWER OVER APARTMENT
The Hearing was initiated by the Landlord (just say Provident Management) for arrears of rent. The tenant withheld rent and has paid it to the Board pending the outcome of the hearing. Rent was withheld because the tenant (who is a single parent with a 14 year old child) asserts the premises are unfit for habitation, for her, because the landlord permitted the installation of numerous cell towers on the roof which emit microwave radiation. The tenant has a penthouse apartment so these towers are 6 feet above her head. To make matters worse, a number of towers radiate directly onto her balcony.
This occurred in December 2009. The client describes in detail how this has affected her health and life, perhaps permanently. Dr. Magda Havas (Professor at Trent University), a well known researcher and expert in ?electrical sensitivity? will testify at trial.
Bell Canada is seeking standing to participate in the trial and to make submissions at trial.
The tenant is seeking a 100% abatement of rent (refund) as she has been unable to live in her apartment since January 2010. She has moved from place to place through the generosity of friends and has become painfully sensitive to all cellular and wi-fi radiation. She suffers daily and her health has been significantly compromised. She was an active, vibrant personality and person and now suffers daily.
Bell is worried that an Order from the Board will have wider implications and affect it?s ability to place ?towers where needed. The Landlord, who did not consult the tenants on the placement of the towers, will lose income generated by contracting with Cell companies for using rooftops of high-rise buildings for the towers.
Five character witnesses will be called at trial testifying to the debilitating effects on the tenant. One witness still lives at 2 Regal Road and will testify that she has lined her ceiling with steel, wire mess to mitigate the radiation (which can be measured) leaking into her apartment. Magda Havas has videos on You Tube. There is a great video showing the client and the towers as she speaks in front of her building.
