Wilner & Associates has filed comments to the proposed opt-out decision in California recommending an analog meter as a permanent alternative for PG&E s customers opposed to a SmartMeter. Wilner also urges the Commission not to allow PG&E to charge customers that have a medical condition for the opt-out option. So far, the Commission contends that the analog meters are obsolete, and inconsistent with the State s energy objectives.
