So the school board thinks the media is more important than the parents for distributing a calming report on Wi-Fi. Very revealing.
The Wi-Fi non consent forms could not come in better timing. If parents are not taken into account by the school, who does the school serve? Wireless comunication industry?
Its priorities are twisted. Who funded the LEX report? Is it also a secret that is kept from parents? Should the media ask it?
"LEX report assures parents the radiation level in the school is insufficient to heat internal organs, according to accepted Canadian standards." But was is ever the question? Did non heating effects become a kind of "irrelevant" concept?

Abstract
Human populations are increasingly exposed to microwave/radiofrequency (RF) emissions from wireless communication technology, including mobile phones and their base stations. By searching PubMed, we identified a total of 10 epidemiological studies that assessed for putative health effects of mobile phone base stations. Seven of these studies explored the association between base station proximity and neurobehavioral effects and three investigated cancer. We found that eight of the 10 studies reported increased prevalence of adverse neurobehavioral symptoms or cancer in populations living at distances < 500 meters from base stations. None of the studies reported exposure above accepted international guidelines, suggesting that current guidelines may be inadequate in protecting the health of human populations. We believe that comprehensive epidemiological studies of longterm mobile phone base station exposure are urgently required to more definitively understand its health impact.
The human populations with which this paper is concerned, do, of course include our children and young people who are increasingly exposed to these emissions at home and at school. While we cannot prevent some exposure, we can, as parents, teachers and school governors, do everything possible to keep exposure to a minimum. This precautionary approach would avoid wi-fi baby alarms, replace wi-fi laptops with wired versions and limit use of mobile phones.
