Anyone fighting a cell phone tower should demand to see what insurance the cell company and the landowner has to cover long term health damage, environmental harm and property devaluation.

If the cellphone company and landowner do not have insurance, the Municipality/Government should insist on a very large security deposit being held over 30 years.

Judge gets it wrong?

District Judge Sarah Singleton ruled Tuesday that no scientific study has yet proved that electromagnetic stimulus adversely impacts personal health.

Here is one study which indicates the judge is wrong:

Our HRV testing shows that in double blind, peer-reviewed study we documented changes in the autonomic nervous system of some subjects when exposed to radiation from a cordless phone base station at 2.4 GHz (same frequency used in Wi-Fi).

Not everyone responded but some did respond with a stress response (up regulation of sympathetic nervous system and down regulation of the parasympathetic nervous system), irregular heart rate (arrhythmia), or rapid heart rate (tachycardia). Often these symptoms as associated with feelings of anxiety or feelings of emotional distress and may be accompanies by a tightness in the chest and/or chest pain or pressure similar to a heart attack which then increases the stress reaction.

We repeated our original study, which was conducted in Colorado with 25 subjects, and have now tested a total of 100 subjects from California, New Mexico, Arizona, Wisconsin, New York, and Ontario. Our original results have been verified and that paper is now being prepared for publication.
