We do not like your proposal to install a smart meter for our home, where it may cause further radiation in our neighbourhood and also cost us over four hundred dollars.

Yesterday, we entered into a five year ?fixed price contract? with Canada Energy Wholesalers Ltd. ( http://www.canadaenergy.ca/ )

Because we will not be using "time of day pricing" for the next five years, it would be pointless to install a smart meter on or near our home.

We will fully co-operate with future meter readings and hope this satisfies both Festival Hydro and the Ontario Government.

Diese tolle Innovation wird alle 15 Minuten (!) rund um die Uhr (!) per Mobilfunk Daten aus jedem Haushalt an den Stromkonzern senden.

Dies ist Mikrowellenbeschuss ohne jede Alternative, weil ja die Haushalte zur Stromabnahme und -zählung gezwungen sind.

Eine Datenübermittlung beispielsweise über Festnetz-Leitung bietet eon nicht an.

Dieses Ding soll über kurz oder lang in jedem Haus installiert werden und seine Bewohner Tag und Nacht einem unablässigen Mikrowellenbombardement aussetzen.

Nicht informierte, aber sparwillige Menschen werden derzeit als erste vor den eon-Karren gespannt, den Rest werden der Gesetzgeber und das Gewohnheitsrecht erledigen. Das geht doch nicht, oder ?!
