den deutschen Reedern verhandelt. Seit Jahren verlangen die Reeder einen
besseren Schutz deutscher Schiffe, lange schwebte ihnen die temporäre
Stationierung von Soldaten oder Polizisten auf den Tankern und
Containerschiffen vor. Den Einsatz privater Sicherheitsfirmen lehnten die
Reeder lange ab, da sie die Kosten für Söldner auf den Schiffen scheuten.
Zudem wären diese nicht befugt, schwere Waffen an Bord zu bringen. Genau
an diesem Punkt will die Koalition nun ansetzen. Im Gespräch sind neue
Regelungen im Waffenrecht, die den Einsatz von Sicherheitsfirmen mit
schweren Waffen ermöglichen soll. Da die weltweit agierenden Agenturen ?
etwa die Nachfolgerfirma des skandalumwitterten US-Unternehmens Blackwater oder die Firma Dyncorps ? jedoch undurchschaubar und
