''Ein Gesetzentwurf der Bundesregierung würde den Zugang zu Beratungs- und Prozesskostenhilfe für Menschen mit niedrigen Einkommen erschweren. Ein Gesetzesentwurf des FDP-geführten Justizministeriums sieht vor, den Zugang zur Beratungs- und Prozesskostenhilfe für Menschen mit geringem Einkommen einzuschränken. Die von der Bundesregierung überarbeitete Fassung liegt mittlerweile im Bundesrat und im Bundestag vor. Verschlechterungen gibt es vor allem an drei Punkten: Für einkommensarme Menschen soll es keinen ungehinderten Zugang zu einem Rechtsanwalt mehr geben, stattdessen muss ein Rechtspfleger den Antrag vorab bewilligen. Die Einkommensschwelle für den Zugang zu Rechtshilfen soll um rund 100 Euro in Richtung Hartz-IV-Niveau gesenkt werden. Die Kostenrückzahlung soll auf sechs Jahre verlängert werden. Diese Maßnahmen werden von Juristen- und Erwerbslosenorganisationen, Sozial- und Frauenverbänden und der Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft verdi scharf kritisiert. US-Verteidigungsminister Panetta hat erklärt, die USA würden jeden Versuch Teherans unterbinden, in den Syrienkonflikt einzugreifen. Das ist nichts anderes, als eine direkte Drohung mit Krieg. Bislang trug die US-Regierung vor allem ihre Besorgnis über einen drohenden israelischen Angriff gegen Iran zur Schau. Doch offenbar betraf das nur den Termin. Obama will nicht, dass Israel vor den kommenden US-Präsidentschaftswahlen angreift. Über die Lieferung von bunkerbrechenden Bomben an die Netanjahu-Regierung beteiligt sich die US-Regierung bereits an den Vorbereitungen zum nächsten großen Krieg im mittleren Osten. Auch in Bezug auf Syrien sind die Äußerungen Panettas heuchlerisch: Bereits im April hat US-Außenministerin Clinton öffentlich gefordert, im Sicherheitsrat ''sehr energisch auf eine Resolution nach Kapitel VII'' der UN-Charta hinzuarbeiten, das heißt auf eine militärische Intervention in Syrien. Dem Iran nun öffentlich eine Einmischung zu verbieten, ist ein billiges Ablenkungsmanöver von den eigenen Aktivitäten. Die USA unterstützt seit Monaten mit Millionenbeträgen solche Kräfte in Syrien, von denen sie die Etablierung eines ihnen genehmen Regimes erwarten. Die Drohungen Panettas verdeutlichen, dass es der US-Regierung nicht um die Demokratie in Syrien geht, sondern um die Vorbereitung eines Angriffs gegen den Iran. DIE LINKE fordert die Bundesregierung auf, sich öffentlich gegen das Säbelrasseln aus dem Pentagon zu stellen. Torture with Impunity
