In einem heute veröffentlichten Bericht zählt Amnesty International allein deutsche Exportgenehmigungen im Wert von 77 Millionen Euro auf, unter anderem für Kleinwaffen, Munition und Militärfahrzeuge. Die Zahlen beziehen sich auf den Zeitraum 2005 bis 2009. 'Diese Waffenlieferungen sind genehmigt worden, obwohl schon damals ein erhebliches Risikos bestand, dass mit diesen Waffen Menschenrechtsverletzungen begangen werden', sagt Mathias John, der Rüstungsexperte der Organisation. In der hundertseitigen Studie untersucht Amnesty Rüstungslieferungen nach Ägypten, Bahrain, Jemen, Libyen und Syrien. Die wichtigsten Exportstaaten waren neben Deutschland Belgien, Bulgarien, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Italien, Österreich, Russland, Tschechien und die USA. 'Für viele Friseurinnen in Ostdeutschland, die für nur wenig mehr als 5 Euro pro Stunde laut Tarifvertrag arbeiten, war der CDU-Parteitag am 14. November ein Bad Hair Day. Der Mindestlohn-Kompromiss, auf den sich die Partei der Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel an diesem Tag geeinigt hat, ist wie eine schlechte Frisur: Er ist schlecht geschnitten und franst an den Rändern aus. Eine Kommission aus Tarifpartnern, also aus Arbeitgebern und Arbeitnehmern, soll sich auf eine allgemein verbindliche Lohuntergrenze einigen. Gelten soll sie allerdings nur für diejenigen Branchen, in denen es bisher keine Tarifverträge gibt. Dazu ein Kommentar von Volker Bahl an die LabourNet-Redaktion: 'Aber wer sagt denn, dass die CDU ( mitsamt dem Wirtschaftsflügel ) will , dass nur irgendjemand den 'Überblick' behält - und deshalb würde er gerade auch vielen Geringverdienern nichts bringen, wo die uralten Tarifverträge Stundenlöhne von drei bis vier Euro vordehen - und diese gelten dann weiter. Deshalb wird der Mindestlohn nur wenig ändern - und allenfalls ein Placebo für wenige sein'.
