Demonstrationsrecht gilt auch vor dem Bundestag

Die stellvertretende Vorsitzende der LINKEN, Katja Kipping, übt Kritik an der Räumung eines friedlichen Zeltcamps vor dem Bundestag. Kipping äußert die Hoffnung, dass weitere Camps entstehen und kündigt an, dass ihre Partei im Bundestag für die Rechte der Protestierer streiten wolle. Sie erklärt:

Ich kann die Räumung nicht nachvollziehen. Der Protest für mehr Demokratie gehört vor den Bundestag.Das ist eine logische Konsequenz, wenn im Bundestag am laufenden Band von einer riesigen Mehrheit der Abgeordneten Gesetze gegen die Interessen der riesigen Mehrheit der Bevölkerung gemacht werden. Es ist nicht akzeptabel, dass Frau Merkel für den Deutsche-Bank-Chef Ackermann ein Geburtstagsessen im Kanzleramt ausrichtet, während friedliche junge Protestierer noch nicht einmal vor dem Bundestag zelten dürfen. Das erweckt den Eindruck, als ob die Politik nur auf die Banken hört, und nicht auf die Menschen. Ich hoffe, dass sich die Protestierer nicht einschüchtern lassen und bald wieder Zelte vor dem Bundestag stehen. Wenn Menschen bei diesen Temperaturen friedlich für ihre Rechte demonstrieren, dann wäre es Aufgabe der Politik, heiße Getränke vorbei zu bringen, das Gespräch zu suchen und nicht zu räumen. Wir werden im Bundestag dafür streiten, dass das Demonstrationsrecht auch vor dem Bundestag gilt.

Die enorme Zahl der DemonstrantInnen in Rom (und anderswo), der Protest, der sich keineswegs nur gegen den sehr ehrenwerten Ministerpräsidenten richtete - alles musste zurücktreten in der medialen Aufbereitung: Endlich mal irgendwo echte Randale, Bilder, die man senden kann usw usf. Dabei geht absichtlicherweise jede Differenzierung zu Ende: Wenn also das Büro einer Zeitarbeitsfirma attackiert wird - so kann man auch daran denken, welche Gewalt es ist, jemand in eine solche Firma zu zwingen. Oder, wenn undemokratische Mittel angeprangert werden - es gab nicht wenige Kundgebungen in Italien, in denen RednerInnen unterschiedlichster Richtung die Schreiben der Europäischen Zentralbank als einen Ausdruck einer Diktatur werteten. Nach Feststellung der Verfassungswidrigkeit der Berechnung des Hartz IV Regelsatzes durch das Bundesverfassungsgericht setzten sich die Politiker in Berlin zusammen, um Neuregelungen zu finden. Nach zähen Verhandlungen zwischen Koalition und Opposition kamen 5 Euro monatlich mehr dabei heraus. Plus ein Bildungsgutscheinsystem zur kulturellen Teilhabe unserer Kinder, welches bisher kaum Anklang fand. Dies waren wohl die Änderungen, von denen die meisten etwas mitbekommen haben. Eklatante Verletzung von Menschenrechten weltweit und in Deutschland und Boom für Millionäre

Zum Welternährungstag am 16. Oktober 2011 und zum Internationalen Tag für die Überwindung der Armut am 17. Oktober 2011 erklärt die stellvertretende Vorsitzende der Partei DIE LINKE, Katja Kipping:

Der jüngst vorgestellte Welthungerindex zeigt, dass in 26 Länder der Erde die Hungersituation sehr ernst ist. Über 925 Millionen Menschen auf der Erde leiden an Hunger. Gleichzeitig steigen die Preise fürNahrungsmittel wegen den Auswirkungen des Klimawandels, der Verwendung von Nahrungsmittel für Agrartreibstoffe und Spekulationen an den Agrarmärkten. In Deutschland verfestigt sich Armut: Ein Drittel der Armen war dauerhaft, also über fünf Jahre, arm. Als arm galt im Jahr 2008 derjenige Alleinlebende, der ein Nettoeinkommen unter 929 Euro hatte. 16 Prozent der armutsgefährdeten Personen können ihre Wohnung nicht warm halten. Fast jeder dritte Armutsgefährdete kann sich nicht einmal jeden zweiten Tag eine vollwertige Mahlzeit mit Fleisch, Fisch oder eine entsprechende vegetarische Mahlzeit leisten. Dem gegenüber melden die Vermögensreporte, dass die Zahl der Millionäre auf Rekordkurs ist. Allein in den Ländern Österreich, Deutschland und Schweiz stiegen die Anzahl der Vermögensmillionäre von 2009 zu 2010 um 7 Prozent und die Vermögen um 9,3 Prozent auf 2,8 Billionen Euro. Die Ursache für diese Bereicherung wird schamlos genannt: die ungehemmte Spekulation an den Kapital- und Rohstoffmärkten. Hunger und Armut sind eklatante Menschenrechtsverletzungen. Der Vermögensboom für Millionäre ist eine Unverschämtheit. Ursachen sind die Umverteilung von unten nach oben, die Aneignung und Ausbeutung der allen gehörenden Natur und Wissensgüter durch eine kleine Minderheit sowie die Ausbeutung menschlicher Fähigkeiten für die Megamaschine Kapital.
