Das zeigt der Mitschnitt einer Pressekonferenz, auf der die FDP fragwürdige Geschäfte rund um die FDP-Tochter altmann-druck verteidigte. FDP-Generalsekretär Patrick Döring bestritt eine Verbindung zu Gauselmann und behauptete, es gebe bei dem Einstieg eines Gauselmann-Beraters bei altmann-druck nichts Verdecktes. Beides ist nachweislich falsch.

Steinbrück hat massives Glaubwürdigkeitsproblem

SPD-Kanzlerkandidat Steinbrück würde im Falle seines Sieges das Betreuungsgeld sofort wieder abschaffen. Daran, dass dies einmal anders klang, erinnert ihn der Bundesgeschäftsführer der LINKEN, Matthias Höhn:

Wenn der SPD-Kanzlerkandidat heute im Bundestag vollmundig erklärt, er würde im Falle seines Sieges das Betreuungsgeld sofort wieder abschaffen, möchte man ihm fast glauben. Mit seiner Einschätzung, die ''Herdprämie'' sei ''Schwachsinn'' liegt er zunächst voll auf der Linie der LINKEN. Doch ein Blick ins Archiv ist hilfreich: Das Handelsblatt titelte am 27. Februar 2008 ''Koalition einigt sich: Betreuungsgeld für Familien kommt''. Demnach hätten sich Ministerin von der Leyen und der damalige Finanzminister Steinbrück geeinigt und Familien, die ihre Kinder nicht in Einrichtungen betreuen lassen wollten, könnten ab 2013 mit Zahlungen rechnen. Kein Wort von ''Herdprämie''. Kein Wort von ''Schwachsinn''. Den Joker mit dem Verweis auf das uninteressante Geschwätz von gestern kann Steinbrück nicht allzu oft ziehen. Er hat ein massives Glaubwürdigkeitsproblem, erneut. Dass er heute das Betreuungsgeld als rückwärtsgewandten Unsinn richtig einschätzt, ist keine Garantie für die Abschaffung morgen.
