Zur Veröffentlichung von Medienberichten, wonach die Bundesregierung gemäß eines Vorschlags des Ministeriums von Ursula von der Leyen die Regelleistungen bei den Grundsicherungen um 8 Euro auf 382 Euro monatlich erhöhen will, erklärt die Vorsitzende der Partei DIE LINKE, Katja Kipping:

Die Bundesregierung schämt sich offenbar nicht, trotz vielfältiger Proteste, die Ärmsten der Gesellschaft weiter in Armut zu halten. Nachgewiesen ist, dass die Regelsätze willkürlich nach unten manipuliert und auf einer falschen Grundlage ermittelt worden sind. Aber wahrscheinlich will die Bundesregierung schon jetzt auf dem Rücken der Betroffenen mit dem Wahlkampf beginnen und die Öffentlichkeit ruhig stellen. 8 Euro mehr, das ist einfach schamlos.
