Aus dem Text: ''?Wer Armut effektiv bekämpfen will, darf nicht auf Billigarbeitsplätze setzen, sondern muß dafür sorgen, dass die Löhne für ein gutes Leben ausreichen, auch bei den sogenannten Arbeitsmaßnahmen. Möglichkeiten zur Beendigung der Lohnabwärtsspirale sind: ein gesetzlicher Mindestlohn über zehn Euro, der auch für Arbeitsmaßnahmen gilt; eine radikale Arbeitszeitverkürzung; die Abschaffung der 400-Euro-Jobs oder zumindest eine Sozialversicherungspflicht ab dem ersten Euro sowie die Wiedereinführung der Arbeitslosen- und Rentenversicherung für alle. Die Sanktionspraxis gehört ebenfalls zum Unterdrückungscharakter des Hartz-IV-Systems, hier wird selbst der als Existenzminimum deklarierte Betrag noch gekürzt bis zum völligen Wegfall der Leistungen, damit sich auch das geradeste Rückgrat noch beugt und willens ist, alles zu tun, um nicht zu verhungern oder obdachlos und ohne Krankenversicherung auf der Straße zu landen. (?) So wird eine Drohkulisse auch für diejenigen, die noch im Erwerbsleben stehen, geschaffen, damit sie stillhalten bei Arbeitsverdichtung und Lohnsenkungen. Selbst Gewerkschaften sind beteiligt an Verschlechterungen im Arbeitsleben: So ist es leider häufig der Fall, dass bei Tarifverhandlungen die Einstiegstarife für diejenigen, die draußen sind, teilweise für viele Jahre um zirka zehn bis 25 Prozent gesenkt werden, um denjenigen, die drinnen sind, ein bis zwei Prozent mehr zu sichern. Das ist nicht nur unsolidarisch, sondern widerspricht auch den eigenen Interessen der gewerkschaftlich organisierten Beschäftigten?''

Während viele der im deutschen Leitindex DAX gelisteten Unternehmen ihre Anteilseigner fürstlich wie seit langem nicht mehr bedienen wollen, lebt jede/r Sechste in Deutschland in Armut. Das heißt, 15,6 Prozent der Bevölkerung müssen im Monat mit weniger als 940 Euro leben. Warmer Geldregen für Aktionäre und soziale Kälte für Arme, zwei skandalöse Realitäten. Dringend nötig ist ein gesellschaftliche Debatte über Umverteilung von Oben nach Unten. Schritte zur Armutsbekämpfung sind der gesetzliche Mindestlohn von 10 Euro und eine sanktionsfreie Mindestsicherung, die die Existenz und gesellschaftliche Teilhabe sichert.

Traum-Tankstellen für Banken

Der Finanzminister hat die Finanztransaktionssteuer aufgegeben und legt damit die Grundlage für die nächste Finanzkrise. Dazu erklärt die Vorsitzende der Partei DIE LINKE, Gesine Lötzsch:

Die Bundesregierung hat Tankstellen in die Welt gesetzt, an denen steuerfrei gezapft werden darf, allerdings nur von Banken und Spekulanten. Diese Traum-Tankstellen heißen ESM oder EFSF. Der angebotene Sprit hat einen Wert von 740 Mrd. Euro. Normalbürger dürfen dort nicht steuerfrei tanken, sollen aber zahlen. Denn die Tankrechnungen von Banken und Casinos müssen die Steuerzahlerinnen und Steuerzahler Europas begleichen. Ein CDU-Finanzminister, der die Steuern nur bei den abhängig Beschäftigten eintreibt und die Millionäre und Spekulanten verschont, setzt zu 100 Prozent das Wahlprogramm der FDP um. DIE LINKE sieht nur einen Weg aus der Krise: Die Finanzmärkte müssen so reguliert werden, dass von ihnen keine Krisen mehr ausgehen können. Dafür müsste sich die Bundesregierung mit den Banken und Spekulanten anlegen. Doch dazu fehlen ihr der Wille und die Kraft.

Seit Anfang Februar 2012 hat die Belegschaft des Allgemeinen Krankenhauses der nordgriechischen Kleinstadt Kilkís (ca. 25.000 EinwohnerInnen) den Betrieb in Selbstverwaltung übernommen. Alle Entscheidungen werden seitdem von der Vollversammlung getroffen. Die Leiterin der Radiologischen Abteilung, Léta Zotáki, wandte sich in einer Erklärung an die Öffentlichkeit: ''Bei dieser Besetzung geht es nicht nur um uns, die ÄrztInnen und ArbeiterInnen des Krankenhauses Kilkís'. Ebenso wenig geht es nur um das griechische Gesundheitssystem, das tatsächlich am Kollabieren ist.
