The last is especially ironic, since Social Security is financed by its own designated tax. Therefore, it does not contribute to the deficit. When I saw that the House passed a $649 billion Defense spending bill, I became EVEN MORE convinced that Congress should REFUSE to raise the debt ceiling. This bill costs some $6,000 per family, and it doesn t even include all Defense-related funding. Estimates have the entire so-called 'national security' spending at $1-1.2 trillion, which ups the 'per family' cost to $10-12 thousand dollars!

Der ?deutsche Weg aus der Krise?, das ?Krisenmanagement des Burgfriedens zum Niederkonkurrieren anderer Volkswirtschaften?, löste die Probleme nur scheinbar und vorübergehend. Lohn- und Sozialdumping ermöglichen gewaltige Exportüberschüsse, aber sie
führen zu massiven Kaufkraftverlusten. Der ?Export-Überschuss-Ausweg? führt logischerweise zu unausgeglichenen Handelsbilanzen und damit zu
dramatischer Verschuldung der Importländer. Immer mehr Schulden werden
aufgehäuft, die niemals zurückgezahlt werden können. Die erzwungenen
Einsparmaßnahmen führen (in den Schuldnerländern noch mehr als in
Deutschland) zu zusammenbrechender Massenkaufkraft. So wird auch der
Export-Ausweg zugebaut und gleichzeitig die nächste Spekulationsblase
aufgebaut. Die Krise kommt mit doppelter Wucht zurück, als
