Bezahlbare Mieten statt Rendite

''Die Mieten in der Bundesrepublik werden immer teurer. In München und in den meisten Großstädten müssen bei Neuvermietungen im Bestand inzwischen 14 bis 15 EUR Nettokaltmiete bezahlt werden. Beim Erstbezug im Neubau kostet die Nettokaltmiete gar 16 EUR und mehr. Dazu kommen noch die Betriebs- oder Nebenkosten, die z.B. in München bei durchschnittlich 1,60 EUR pro qm liegen. Die Miete für eine 80 qm Wohnung kostet so etwa 1200,- bis 1400,- EUR, ohne Heizungs- und Stromkosten. Normalverdienende Familien müssen inzwischen ein Drittel oder die Hälfte ihres Nettoeinkommens für die Miete ausgeben. Zu den höchsten Mietpreissteigerungen in den letzten vier Jahren kam es in Hamburg mit plus 25,9 %, in Berlin (plus 25,4 %), oder auch in Freiburg (plus 21,4 %) oder Weimar (plus 20 %). In einigen Regionen stehen Hunderttausende Wohnungen leer, im ganzen Land rund 3,5 Millionen. Aber die Wohnungen liegen dort, wo keine gebraucht werden, weil die Menschen keine Arbeit finden und deshalb wegziehen. Jetzt ist Wahlkampfzeit und alle Parteien, die die derzeitigen investorenfreundlichen Mietergesetze beschlossen haben, versprechen plötzlich die Einführung von ''Mietpreisbremsen''. Grundlegende Änderungen, die der Wohnungs- und Grundstücksspekulation einen Riegel vorschieben würden, sind von ihnen allerdings nicht zu erwarten. Es liegt am System, dass trotz des Wirtschaftsbooms in Deutschland, Millionen Menschen in der Hartz-IV-Mühle gefangen bleiben, kommentiert die Vorsitzende der Partei DIE LINKE, Katja Kipping, aktuelle Medienberichte, wonach mehr als die Hälfte der erwerbsfähigen Hartz-IV-Beziehenden dauerhaft auf staatliche Leistungen angewiesen sind.

Der Druck durch gewollte Erfolgszahlen und Vermittlungsquoten in den Jobcentern führt zur Ausgrenzung derjenigen, die weniger Chancen haben. Gefördert werden hauptsächlich die leicht Vermittelbaren. Fest zuhalten gilt zudem: Auf eine offene Stelle, die dem Arbeitsamt oder dem Jobcenter zur Vermittlung zur Verfügung steht, kommen durchschnittlich acht Erwerbslose. Frisierte Vermittlungsstatistiken und Erfolgsmeldungen, die keine sind, nutzen niemandem und grenzen aus. Wirtschafts-, arbeitsmarkt- und sozialpolitisch müssen endlich ganz andere Konzepte her. Angebote der LINKEN für Programme im öffentlich geförderten Beschäftigungssektor und zur Arbeitszeitverkürzung liegen auf dem Tisch.
