Prism: US-Überwachungsaffäre und der NSA-Whistleblower

Nach Informationen der Washington Post und der britischen Zeitung The Guardian zapfen der US-Geheimdienst NSA und die Bundespolizei FBI direkt die zentralen Rechner und damit die Kundendaten von fünf Internet-Firmen an. Der NSA-Whistleblower, Edward Snowden hat die Datensammlung des NSA enthüllt. ''Während sich Öcalan am Montag gegenüber einer Delegation von Parlamentariern der prokurdischen Partei für Frieden und Demokratie
(BDP) zuversichtlich gezeigt hatte, nach Einleitung des Rückzuges der PKK-Guerilla aus der Türkei nun eine zweite Phase des »demokratischen Lösungsprozesses« beginnen zu können, rechtfertigte Erdogan nach Informationen der kurdischen Nachrichtenagentur Firat den von der PKK als Kriegsvorbereitung bezeichneten Neubau zahlreicher Militärstützpunkte in Kurdistan mit den Entwicklungen in den Nachbarländern Syrien, Irak und Iran. Auch auf dem von der örtlichen Bevölkerung abgelehnten Bau von Staudämmen in den kurdischen Landesteilen beharrte er. »Türkisch ist die einzige offizielle Sprache, und wir haben schon Kurdisch als Wahlfach eingeführt«, wies Erdogan zudem die Forderung nach muttersprachlichem Unterricht zurück.
