Drohnen sind Killerwaffen in staatlicher Hand

Der Parteivorstand der LINKEN hat am Wochenende die Unterstützung eines Appells aus Friedens- und Bürgerrechtsbewegung gegen die Etablierung von Drohnentechnologie für Krieg, Überwachung und Unterdrückung einstimmig beschlossen. Dazu erklärt Tobias Pflüger, Mitglied im Parteivorstand:

Die Bundesregierung plant nach wie vor den Kauf, die Produktion und den Einsatz von Kampfdrohnen. Im Moment ist nur die Debatte, welche Variante angeschafft wird, und dass die Befassung des Bundestages nach der Bundestagswahl erfolgen soll. Drohnen sind Killerwaffen in staatlicher Hand. Kampfdrohnen würden die Kriegsführung weiter grundsätzlich verändern. DIE LINKE. hat Kampfdrohnen von Anfang an konsequent abgelehnt und wird alle parlamentarischen und außerparlamentarischen Mittel nutzen, um die Einführung dieser automatisierten Tötungsmaschinen bei der Bundeswehr zu verhindern. DIE LINKE lehnt den Kauf, die Produktion und den Einsatz von Kampfdrohnen grundsätzlich ab.

Pflüger rief im Namen des Parteivorstandes der LINKEN alle Sympathisant_innen und Mitglieder der Linken dazu auf, die Kampagne der Friedens- und Bürgerrechtsbewegung auch persönlich zu unterstützen.
