In Teilen Europas, Afrikas und Süd-Asiens hat sich die Zahl der monatlichen Hitzerekorde sogar verzehnfacht. 80 Prozent der beobachteten monatlichen Hitzerekorde wären ohne den Einfluss des Menschen auf das Klima nicht zustande gekommen, erklärt das Autoren-Team aus dem Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung (PIK) und der Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
