Die Uneinsichtigkeit und Marktgläubigkeit des Bundeswirtschaftsministers bremst die Energiewende aus.'' erklärt die stellvertretende Parteivorsitzende Caren Lay (MdB) anlässlich der Erklärung Röslers gegenüber der ''Neuen Osnabrücker Zeitung'', Stromtrassen nicht verstaatlichen zu wollen. Lay weiter:

Das heutige Stromnetz passt nicht zu den erneuerbaren Energien. Die Stomtrassen müssten dringend ausgebaut werden damit der Strom dort hinkommt, wo er gebraucht wird. Statt diesen Ausbau sinnvoll anzugehen macht sich Rösler lieber mit den Netzbetreibern gemein.

Damit bleibt Rösler seiner Linie treu und lässt seine Klientel nicht im Stich. Bereits im Sommer trieb er massiv die sogenannte Haftungsregelung voran, nach der Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher zahlen müssen, wenn sich die Netzanbindungen an Offshore-Anlagen auf hoher See verzögern. Das belastet die Stromkundinnen und Stromkunden in den nächsten Jahren bei bis zu drei Milliarden.

Die Energiewende ist eine wichtige gesamtgesellschaftliche Aufgabe. Der Ausbau der Trassen muss sinnvoll geplant und gesteuert werden. Sie darf nicht von Profitinteressen privater Netzbetreiber abhängen. DIE LINKE fordert daher, die Stromnetze wieder in die öffentliche Hand und damit endlich wieder unter demokratische Kontrolle zu stellen.

Bezahlbarer Wohnraum für alle

''Derzeit erleben wir Rekordsteigerungen bei den Mieten, besonders in den Großstädten. Es muss endlich eine Politik für Mieterinnen und Mieter gemacht werden, um Wohnungsmangel und Mietpreisexplosion zu bekämpfen. ? erklärt Caren Lay (MdB), stellvertretende Parteivorsitzende der LINKEN. Lay weiter:

Für immer mehr Menschen wird es zum Problem, eine gute und günstige Wohnung zu mieten. Auf dem Wohnungsmarkt findet eine soziale Verdrängung statt, die ganze Stadtteile umwälzt. DIE LINKE will die Mietpreisexplosion stoppen und setzt sich dafür ein, die Mieten zu begrenzen. Mieterhöhungen müssen auch bei Neuvermietungen beschränkt werden.

Wir brauchen mehr bezahlbare Wohnungen, denn Wohnungsknappheit treibt die Mietpreise nach oben. Besonders dramatisch ist die Entwicklung beim geförderten Wohnraum. Allein zwischen 2002 und 2010 sind über 800.000 Sozialwohnungen weggefallen. Dabei fehlen in Deutschland derzeit etwa 4 Millionen dieser geförderten Wohnungen. Angesichts des dringenden Bedarfs muss hier ein schnelles Umdenken erfolgen. Spekulationen mit Wohnraum und Privatisierung des öffentlichen Wohnungsbestands muss ein Riegel vorgeschoben werden. Die Umwandlung von Miet- in Eigentumswohnungen muss erschwert werden und eine zehnjährige Haltefrist für Wohnungen in Mehrfamilienhäusern eingeführt werden.

Es ist schön, dass die SPD im Wahljahr das Thema erkannt hat. Doch es wird sich erst noch zeigen, ob den Worten Taten folgen oder ob die SPD mal wieder links blinkt und am Ende doch rechts abbiegt.
