Der Vorsitzende der LINKEN, Bernd Riexinger, kritisiert die Rentenpläne der SPD als ''unausgegoren'' und fordert von der Partei ein klares Bekenntnis zum Prinzip der lebensstandardsichernden Rente. Er erklärt:

Das Rentenkonzept der SPD ist eine Mogelpackung. Es ist doch einfach nur absurd, die Sicherung des Rentenniveaus bei 50 Prozent zu versprechen, wenn es dank der rot-grünen Rentenkürzungsprogramme schon jetzt nach amtlicher Berechnung unter 50 Prozent liegt. Allein daran sieht man, wie unausgegoren das Konzept ist. Die SPD hat im Kern beschlossen, bis 2020 die Hände in den Schoß zu legen und nichts gegen die weitere Senkung des Rentenniveaus zu unternehmen. Die Ostrentenangleichung wird ins nächste Jahrzehnt verschoben. Es gibt keine feste Barriere gegen Altersarmut. Alles steht unter Vorbehalt. Alles ist mit einem Wenn und Aber versehen. Gerechtigkeit geht anders. Die Partei hat Steinbrück damit die Lizenz zum Rentenkürzen ausgestellt. Dieses Rentenkonzept ist ein Signal für eine große Koalition. Solange die SPD sich nicht klipp und klar zu dem Grundsatz bekennt, dass die Renten mit den Löhnen steigen müssen, bleibt sie gefangen in den Lebenslügen der Agenda 2010. Für einen Politikwechsel in der Rente muss sich die SPD deutlich mehr bewegen.

Das Vorstandsmitglied der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Heinrich Alt, spricht sich aus Kostengründen gegen eine Erhöhung des Hartz IV-Regelsatzes aus. Dazu erklärt die Vorsitzende der Partei DIE LINKE, Katja Kipping:

BA-Vorstandsmitglied Heinrich Alt überschreitet mit seinen polemischen Äußerungen die Grenze der Neutralität der Bundesagentur für Arbeit. Bisher war der Bundesagentur ihre Neutralität zumindest dann immer wichtig, wenn es um eine Parteinahme im Sinne sozialer Gerechtigkeit ging.

Wenn es aber darum geht, das Existenzminimum so niedrig wie möglich zu halten, gilt für Heinrich Alt offensichtlich diese Neutralität nicht mehr. Das soziokulturelle Existenzminimum darf nicht nach Kassenlage bestimmt werden. Denn dieses ist ein unverfügbares Grundrecht. Das urteilte auch das Bundesverfassungsgericht.

Bundesregierung ignoriert unbequeme Hartz-IV-Umfrage der Diakonie. Gravierende Mängel des Hartz-IV-Systems, Schwarz-Gelb will Probleme nicht wahrhaben

''Wenn der zweitgrößte deutsche Wohlfahrtsverband eine Umfrage zum Thema Hartz IV macht, dann sollte die Politik eigentlich hellhörig werden. Zwischen Mai und November 2011 führte die evangelische Diakonie intensive Befragungen in 110 ihrer Beratungsstellen durch. Der Verband wollte wissen, wie es um die vom Bundesverfassungsgericht eingeforderte Sicherung des Existenzminimums für Langzeitarbeitslose und deren Kindern bestellt ist. Bundesagentur für Arbeit warnt vor höheren Hartz IV Regelsätzen

Neuerdings macht die Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) auch Politik. Diese warnte heute vor der Erhöhung der Hartz IV-Regelsätze. In einer eigens hierfür angefertigten Berechnung, würden laut der BA die Folgekosten um 7,4 Milliarden Euro steigen, wenn die Regelleistungen im Schnitt um 50 Euro angehoben werden würden. Nach Ansicht der Linkspartei überschreitet die Bundesagentur mit ihrer Warnung in polemischer Art und Weise das Neutralitätsprinzip. Weiterlesen:
