Steinbrücks Vortragsliste: Transparenzregeln lückenhaft

Am 30. Oktober hat Peer Steinbrück die Honorare, Themen und Auftraggeber seiner Vorträge veröffentlicht. Die Auflistung zeigt, dass es weiterhin große Lücken in den Transparenzregeln für Abgeordneten-Nebentätigkeiten gibt. So fehlt es an Regeln für Redneragenturen und Anwälte; die Stufen, in denen die Einkünfte angegeben werden müssen, sind weiterhin zu grob und lassen bis zu 50% der Einnahmen im Unklaren; und es fehlt an wirksamer Kontrolle und Sanktionen.

Auch finden sich in Steinbrücks Liste einige Vorträge, die als besonders problematisch hervorstechen, da sie in sehr engem Zusammenhang mit Steinbrücks Tätigkeit als Finanzminister stehen.

Bundestag: Mehr Transparenz? Ohne uns!

In den letzten Wochen haben Politikerinnen und Politiker jeder Couleur viel von Transparenz gesprochen. Und tatsächlich werden Abgeordnete in Zukunft hohe Nebeneinkünfte stärker als bisher offenlegen müssen, nachdem wir hartnäckig gegen die laschen Regeln protestiert haben.

Als es letzte Woche im Bundestag jedoch darum ging ''Abkühlzeiten'' für ausscheidende Politiker und eine stärkere Regulierung der Parteienfinanzierung zu beschließen, hat die Regierungskoalition wieder einmal gekniffen. Immerhin aber sind diese Themen wieder ganz oben auf der Tagesordnung, im Vorlauf der Bundestagswahl ein kleiner Punktsieg für uns!

Bundesregierung macht sich zum Hampelmann der Stromkonzerne

''Statt die notwendige Energiewende sozial gerecht und ökologisch sinnvoll zu organisieren, lässt sich die Bundesregierung zu immer neuen Zugeständnissen und Geschenken an die Energiekonzerne hinreißen. Die einseitige Lastenverteilung auf dem Rücken der Stromkunden ist nicht hinnehmbar!'', kommentiert die stellvertretende Parteivorsitzende der LINKEN, Caren Lay (MdB), die heutige Meldung des Handelsblatts, dass die Bundesregierung den Stromkonzernen beim geplanten Stilllegungsverbot für systemrelevante Kraftwerke entgegen kommen will.

Caren Lay weiter: ''Die Energiekonzerne lassen sich die Energiewende versilbern. Die Stromkunden müssen blechen. Denn die Zugeständnisse der Bundesregierung gehen in die Milliarden und sie werden auf den Strompreis umgelegt. Der steigt immer weiter, genau wie die Gewinne der Energiekonzerne. Wer wie die schwarzgelbe Koalition Energiekonzernen Milliardengewinne zuschanzt, kann auch einen Härtefallfonds für verschuldete Stromkunden auflegen und dafür sorgen, dass niemand wegen Zahlungsschwierigkeiten und Stromsperrung im Dunkeln sitzt. Die Bundesregierung muss die Energiewende endlich sozial gestalten und dafür sorgen, dass Strom kein Luxusgut wird.''
