Energiegipfel: Aussicht trübe bis stürmisch

''Die Bundesregierung befindet sich mit ihrer Energiepolitik eher im Tal der Ahnungslosen, als auf irgendeinem Gipfel. Keine der zentralen technologischen und sozialen Herausforderungen der Energiewende wurde bei dem Treffen im Kanzleramt konstruktiv gelöst. Der einzige Lichtstrahl war die Teilnahme von Gewerkschaftsvertretern. Zumindest die Erkenntnis, dass der Umbau der Energieversorgung nur unter Wahrung sozialer Standards und von Arbeitnehmerrechten zu gestalten ist, scheint mittlerweile Eingang in das Denken des sich für zuständig erklärenden Umweltministers Peter Altmaier zu finden.'' kommentiert Martin Schirdewan, Mitglied im Parteivorstand der LINKEN, die Ergebnisse des Energiegipfels der Bundesregierung. Schirdewan weiter:

Was für eine eigenwillige Logik Altmaiers und Co. Weil weder beim zentralen Netzausbau noch der Speicherung von Erneuerbaren Energien entscheidende Fortschritte erzielt werden, soll weniger Ökostrom produziert werden. Vorwärts in die Vergangenheit. Die Bundesregierung weigert sich beharrlich, das Scheitern ihrer im Interesse der großen Stromerzeuger und Netzbetreiber verfolgten Politik einzugestehen. Der Energiegipfel zeigt einmal mehr, dass die Energiewende nur erfolgreich gestaltet werden kann, wenn sie dezentral und kommunal durch öffentliche und kleine und mittlere Unternehmen umgesetzt wird. So werden demokratische Mitbestimmung vor Ort und Teilhabe aller Bürgerinnen und Bürger an der Energiewende gewährleistet. Deshalb steht DIE LINKE steht für den sozial-ökologischen Umbau. Anstelle dessen betreibt die Bundesregierung eine Politik, die, wie aktuell mit der Sozialisierung der Risiken des Ausbaus der Off-Shore-Windkraft bei gleichzeitiger Privatisierung der Gewinne, einseitig die Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher belastet, die Strompreise steigen lässt und die Grundversorgung mit Energie für immer mehr Menschen unbezahlbar werden lässt. Die Energiewende wird nur die Akzeptanz der Bevölkerung finden, wenn sie sozial gerecht vonstattengeht. Das bedeutet für DIE LINKE eine faire Beteiligung aller an den Kosten der Energiewende. DIE LINKE fordert deshalb den Abbau von Subventionen für die Stromkonzerne und die Einbeziehung energieintensiv produzierender Betriebe an der EEG-Umlage. Ebenso wie eine Reform des Stromtarifsystems, die verbindliche Einführung von Sozialtarifen für einkommensschwache Haushalte und ein Verbot von Energiesperren für Privathaushalte auf der Grundlage einer Änderung der Stromgrundversorgungsverordnung.

(?) Stimmt das, können die Deutschen durchaus zu einer Nation von Systemkritikern werden, aber nur in der Theorie, ohne praktisches Engagement in Reformbewegungen. Nicht einmal Protestparteien, linke oder grüne Bündnisse, könnten darauf hoffen, von dieser gewandelten Einstellung zu profitieren. Die Kritik der Bürger am gegenwärtigen System wäre damit eher resignativ als revolutionär?''
