Deutschland versagt bei der Korruptionsbekämpfung

Die Staatengruppe gegen Korruption (GRECO) des Europarats kritisiert in ihrem jüngsten Bericht die mangelnde Transparenz bei der Parteienfinanzierung in Deutschland sowie mangelhafte Vorkehrungen gegen Abgeordnetenbestechung. GRECO urteilt in dem neuen Bericht, dass Deutschland bei der Umsetzung der bisherigen Empfehlungen keine konkreten Fortschritte gemacht habe. Der Stand der Umsetzung sei ''allgemein unbefriedigend''. GRECO leitet deshalb die zweite Stufe des ''Non-Compliance-Verfahren'' gegen Deutschland ein. Bis zum 31. Juli 2013 muss Deutschland einen erneuten Bericht zur Umsetzung der Empfehlungen vorlegen.
