Der Vorsitzende der LINKEN, Klaus Ernst, bezeichnet den heute vorgelegten Jahreswirtschaftsbericht als ''Dokument wirtschaftspolitischen Versagens''. Deutschland sei auf die durch die Wirtschaftskrise bevorstehenden Turbulenzen nicht ausreichend vorbereitet. Ernst fordert eine Stärkung der Binnenkonjunktur durch eine Politik für höhere Löhne und Sozialleistungen sowie die schnelle Realisierung eines Konjunkturpakets gegen die Krisenfolgen. Er erklärt:

Der Jahreswirtschaftsbericht ist ein Dokument wirtschaftspolitischen Versagens. Europa steht am Rand einer gewaltigen Krise. Die Prognose der Bundesregierung spiegelt die Folgen einer falschen Politik wieder. Das Jahr 2012 bringt keine verteilungspolitische Wende. Die Masseneinkommen steigen nur minimal stärker als die Preise. Vom Export kommen keine Wachstumsimpulse, weil Merkel und Rösler bei den europäischen Nachbarn gigantische Kürzungsorgien durchgesetzt haben. Die Investitionen brechen ein, weil es für die Banken attraktiver ist, an unregulierten Finanzmärkten zu spekulieren, als den Unternehmen Geld zu leihen. Die Binnennachfrage kann diese Einbrüche nicht auffangen, weil die Zuwächse bei den Löhnen nur minimal sind. Deutschland ist kein Stabilitätsanker sondern ein Schiff ohne Kompass im Auge des Sturms. Schwarz-Gelb hat nichts getan, um das Land auf die kommenden Turbulenzen vorzubereiten. Wir brauchen eine Kehrtwende in der Verteilungspolitik. Dazu muss es in der Bundesrepublik 2012 vor allem eine Lohn- und Sozialoffensive geben. Steigende Löhne, steigende Renten, steigende Sozialleistungen, das kurbelt die Binnennachfrage an und zieht Europa aus der Krise. Dazu müssen die Lohnbremsen aus dem Arbeitsrecht raus, und die Kürzungsfaktoren müssen aus der Rentenformel gestrichen werden, damit die Rente wieder mit den Löhnen steigt. Alle Sozialleistungen müssen darauf überprüft werden, ob sie die wirklichen Bedarfe abbilden und mit der Inflation Schritt gehalten haben. Es gilt die Formel: Wer etwas für die Bürgerinnen und Bürger tut, tut etwas für Europa.

Jobwundergerede ist eine Lüge, Forderung nach#Lohnzurückhaltung eine Farce

Zur Lage auf dem deutschen Arbeitsmarkt im Monat Januar erklärt die Bundesgeschäftsführerin der LINKEN, Caren Lay:

Wirtschaftsminister Rösler meinte gestern, er müsse zu Lohnzurückhaltung und Mäßigung bei bevorstehenden Tarifverhandlungen aufrufen, nur so ließe sich das ''Jobwunder'' weiterführen. Ich halte diese Position für unerträglich. Offiziell waren im Januar 3,082 Millionen Menschen ohne Arbeit, über
300.000 mehr als im Vormonat. Und dennoch spricht die Arbeitsagentur von einer fortgesetzt ''guten Entwicklung''. DIE LINKE hat auch diesmal nachgerechnet: Ganz ohne Tricks und Mauschelei liegt die Arbeitslosigkeit bei über 4 Millionen. Und von denen die Arbeit haben, arbeitet ein Großteil im Niedriglohnbereich oder der Leiharbeitsbranche. Das vermeintliche Jobwunder lebt von Hungerlöhnen, Existenzangst und prekärer Beschäftigung. Angesichts dieser Zustände Maßhalten bei der Lohnentwicklung einzufordern, muss für die Betroffenen wie Hohn klingen. Der umgekehrte Weg ist der richtige! Wir brauchen sozialversicherungspflichtige, existenzsichernde Arbeit zu guten Löhnen. Das beste Mittel für sichere und mehr Arbeitsplätze sind Löhne, die Deutschland nicht zur Billiglohn-Konkurrenz seiner Nachbarn machen. DIE LINKE fordert einen flächendeckenden gesetzlichen Mindestlohn von zehn Euro, diese Löhne wären armutsfest, würden die Binnenkonjunktur ankurbeln und neue, gute, Arbeit schaffen.

Job-Center vermitteln Beschäftigungsverhältnisse mit skandalösen Arbeitsverträge, die unterhalb der Entscheidung von Sozialgerichtsurteilen liegen, kritisiert Werner Schulten, Mitglied des Parteivorstandes der LINKEN und Sprecher der Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft Hartz IV, die Praxis der Bundesagentur für Arbeit.

Am 19. November 2011 urteilte das Sozialgericht Berlin in einer unanfechtbaren Entscheidung u.a.: ''Für das Jahr 2011 ist für Berlin bei einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung eine monatliche Bruttovergütung von weniger als 1058 EUR (netto: 815 EUR) sittenwidrig.'' Eine Nachfrage beim Job-Center Berlin-Mitte ergab, dass nach wie vor Vermittlungen in AGHE-Maßnahmen vorgenommen, die bei einer 38,5-Stunden-Woche mit 900 Euro brutto vergütet werden. Die Arbeitsverträge werden vom JobCenter geprüft und für gut befunden. Bereits im September 2010 hatte das Sozialgericht Berlin entschieden, dass für Berlin eine Vergütung unter 1.035 Euro bei einer Vollzeitbeschäftigung für 2010 sittenwidrig sei. Ungeachtet dieser gesetzlichen Vorgaben wurden nach Auskunft des Job-Centers Berlin Mitte alleine dort 2.600 Personen in AGHE-Jobs vermittelt, ein großer Teil davon zu 900 Euro brutto. Es ist ein Skandal, wie die Bundesagentur mit rechtskräftigen Urteilen der Sozialgerichte umgeht. Aber noch skandalöser ist die Tatsache, dass sich eine Behörde der Bundesrepublik Deutschland sittenwidrig verhält, denn die Vermittlung in solche Arbeit unter Androhung von Sanktionen ist dies allemal. Schulten weiter: ''In welcher Demokratie leben wir eigentlich, wenn staatliche Institutionen auf Gerichtsurteile pfeifen und sich ungeniert über Jahre so verhalten können. Durch die Androhung von Sanktionen und Leistungskürzungen, also der Gefährdung ihrer Existenz, werden Menschen gezwungen, sittenwidrige Verträge zu unterschreiben.
