Merkel darf Europa nicht zur Geisel einer sich in Auflösung befindlichen Partei machen

Die Vorsitzende der LINKEN, Gesine Lötzsch, fordert von Bundeskanzlerin Merkel, die Finanztransaktionssteuer auch ohne die Zustimmung der FDP einzuführen. Eine parlamentarische Mehrheit gebe es dennoch, weil alle anderen Parteien für die Einführung seien. Wenn Merkel dennoch auf die Durchsetzung der Finanztransaktionssteuer verzichte, mache sie die Bundesrepublik und Europa zur ''Geisel einer sich in Auflösung befindlichen Partei''. Gesine Lötzsch erklärt:

Es ist richtig, dass der französische Präsident jetzt die Blockade bricht und Frankreich zum Vorreiter bei der Einführung der Finanztransaktionssteuer macht. Wenn Deutschland ihm folgt, dann entsteht mit Sicherheit eine Dynamik, der sich die anderen Euro-Länder nicht entziehen können. Merkel sollte die Interessen des Landes vor den Koalitionsfrieden stellen und die Finanztransaktionssteuer auch ohne die Zustimmung der FDP einführen. Alle anderen Parteien sind dafür. DIE LINKE wird im Parlament für die Einführung stimmen. Wir brauchen die Einnahmen dringend, um Konjunkturprogramme gegen die Euro-Krise zu finanzieren. Die Bundesregierung tut hier zu wenig. Während der Weltwirtschaftskrise 2008 hat Deutschland konjunkturstützende Maßnahmen auf den Weg gebracht, die die Wirtschaft vor dem Schlimmsten bewahrt haben. Wir brauchen schnell ein Konjunkturprogramm für Wachstum und Beschäftigung. Wenn Merkel auf die Durchsetzung der Finanztransaktionssteuer verzichtet, dann macht sie Deutschland und Europa zur Geisel einer sich in Auflösung befindlichen Partei.

Die Kanzlerin muss die Finanztransaktionssteuer auch gegen die sich auflösende FDP durchsetzen, erklärt die Vorsitzende der Partei DIE LINKE, Gesine Lötzsch:

Die Kanzlerin will offensichtlich nun endlich die Finanztransaktionssteuer auch gegen die FDP in Europa durchsetzen. Dabei hat sie unsere volle Unterstützung. Die Kanzlerin muss sich von der in Auflösung begriffenen FDP befreien, wenn sie Europa retten und ein Auseinanderbrechen der Europäischen Union verhindern will. Die FDP gibt scheinheilig vor, der Finanztransaktionssteuer zustimmen zu wollen, wenn diese Steuer in den 27 EU-Staaten eingeführt werden würde. Doch es ist klar, dass Großbritannien einer Finanztransaktionssteuer nicht zustimmen wird. Der Versuch, sich hinter den Briten zu verstecken, ist mehr als peinlich. Das Argument der FDP, dass mit der Steuer der Finanzplatz London auf unsere Kosten gestärkt wird, kann man entkräften. Das Österreichische Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung hat vorgeschlagen, dass die Steuer unabhängig vom Finanzplatz für alle Bürgerinnen und Bürger gelten muss und über die Finanzämter eingezogen werden kann. Dann ist es für einen deutschen oder spanischen Anleger egal, ob er in London oder in Frankfurt/a.M. handelt, er muss die Steuer auf jeden Fall bezahlen. Die LINKE weist aber darauf hin, dass allein mit einer Finanztransaktionssteuer die Finanzkrise nicht zu lösen ist. Wer glaubt, nur an einer Schraube drehen zu müssen, um den europäischen Motor wieder in Gang zu bringen, der hat die Komplexität des Problems nicht verstanden. Vor allem brauchen wir jetzt europäische Solidarität. Wer Griechenland, Portugal, Spanien und Italien dem Schicksal überlässt, wird selbst scheitern. Ein solidarisches Europa ist für alle besser.

Krisenproteste: Internationaler Aktionstag am 15. Januar

'Empörung und Besetzung lauten die Stichworte, unter denen seit Monaten weltweit Menschen auf Straßen und Plätze gehen und ihre Forderungen vorbringen. Die Dynamik der globalen Bewegung, die am 15. Oktober auch Deutschland erreichte, muss weitergehen und ins neue Jahr getragen werden.

Attac ruft dazu auf, sich am nächsten globalen Aktionstag am Sonntag, den 15. Januar 2012, aktiv zu beteiligen. Ähnlich wie am 15. Doch Experten sind skeptisch: ''Die Nachweise der Wirtschaftlichkeit sind nichts anderes als Modellrechnungen'', sagt Holger Mühlenkamp. Der Professor für Öffentliche Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Deutschen Hochschule für Verwaltungswissenschaften Speyer forscht seit Jahren zu PPP. Er glaubt nicht an die Effizienzversprechen. 'Studien belegen, die Rente mit 67 ist unrealistisch. Die Rente mit 67 fördert die Altersarmut. Jüngere kommen schwerer in Lohn und Arbeit, wenn die Älteren bis 67 arbeiten müssen. Das sind alles gute Argumente gegen die Anhebung des Renteneintrittsalters. Es sind Argumente der IG Metal. Auch DGB-Schwestergewerkschaften sprachen sich immer wieder deutlich gegen die Rente mit 67 aus.Am Donnerstagmorgen nun äußerten sich IG-Metall-Vorsitzender Berthold Huber und Gesamtmetallchef Martin Kannegießer im gemeinsamen Interview und warben für flexiblere Übergänge in den späteren Ruhestand. Zwar bezeichnete Huber die Rente mit 67 als »verhängnisvollen Irrweg«, deutliche Worte zur generellen Abschaffung des umstrittenen Instruments konnte man in dem Interview nicht lesen. Es ist übertrieben, dafür zu 'danken', dass das Arbeitsvolumen geschrumpft ist

'Dieses Plakat hängt an allen großen Bahnhöfen: 'Danke, Deutschland', heißt es darauf in großen Lettern. Wer da dankt, steht gleich darüber: 'So viele Menschen in Arbeit wie nie zuvor'. Dann folgt noch die Alliteration: 'Wirtschaft. Wachstum. Wohlstand.' Die Botschaft soll also nach Hause gehämmert werden?? Behörden strafen häufiger: Arbeit abgelehnt, Arbeitslosengeld gesperrt

'Wer als Arbeitsloser einen Job ausschlägt, kann schnell ohne Arbeitslosengeld I dastehen. Im vergangenen Jahr nutzten die Behörden diese Sanktion deutlich häufiger als zuvor. Während sich der Arbeitsmarkt positiv entwickelt, machen die Arbeitsagenturen weiter Druck auf Arbeitslose. Nehmen sie Arbeit, die ihnen angeboten wird, nicht an, kann die Agentur ihnen das Arbeitslosengeld I vorübergehend sperren. Das taten sie im Jahr 2011 in fast 27.000 Fällen mit der Begründung: Arbeitsablehnung. Das entspricht einem Anstieg um 2800 Fälle oder fast zwölf Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr, wie aus einer Bilanz der Bundesagentur für Arbeit hervorgeht, die der Nachrichtenagentur Reuters vorliegt?' Reallohnanstieg in Deutschland?

'Gestern berichtete das Statistische Bundesamt (Destatis) von schwach steigenden Reallöhnen in Deutschland. In Q3 2011 stieg der Reallohnindex nur um +0,6% zum Vorjahresquartal und damit um die niedrigste Rate seit Q4 2009. Selbst diese maue Rate ist noch eine Beschönigung, denn der Reallohnindex basiert auf der vierteljährlichen Verdiensterhebung und diese spiegelt nur die Bruttomonatsverdienste einschließlich der Sonderzahlungen nach Abzug des Anstiegs beim Verbraucherpreisindex (VPI) von Vollzeitbeschäftigten wider. 'Am Montag den 16. Januar, möchten wir mit dem ersten regulären Vorbereitungstreffen für den Euromayday 2012 ins neue Jahr starten. Das Treffen findet um 19:30 Uhr in Sozialen Zentrum in Bochum statt
(Josephstr. 2 / Ecke Schmechtingstr. / 44791 Bochum). Ihr seid eingeladen euch mit euren Ideen und Themen zu beteiligen. Eine Entscheidung ist allerdings schon gefallen: Nachdem der Euromayday Ruhr in 2010 und 2011 jeweils in Dortmund stattfand, möchten wir ihn in diesem Jahr in Bochum veranstalten. Ein wichtiger Slogan des Euromayday Ruhr im Jahr der Kulturhauptstadt 2010 war: 'Unsere Leben sind keine Geschäftsidee!' Auch in 2012 möchten wir versuchen unterschiedliche Themen, Konflikte und Kämpfe zu bündeln um sie auf der Straße zum tanzen zu bringen. Ein erster Gedanke zum möglichen Motto 2012 lautet: 'Das Gemeinsame aneignen'. Zu dieser zunächst noch recht abstrakt klingenden Idee, soll es beim ersten Treffen einen kurzen Input zur Diskussion geben. Die Fragen dazu könnten lauten: Was bedeutet gesellschaftliche Arbeit? Was sind Gemeingüter? Was bedeute Produktion des Gemeinsamen? Wer eignet sich wie den Reichtum des Gemeinsamen an? Soviel zu unseren ersten Ideen. Aber noch ist alles offen.
