Der gewerkschaftspolitische Sprecher des Parteivorstands der LINKEN, Michael Schlecht, erklärt zum heute vorgestellten 4-Punkte-Plan des DGB für einen Kurswechsel in Europa:

Um die Krise zu stoppen, muss die EZB für eine direkte Finanzierung der Staaten bereit stehen. Diese auch von der LINKEN geteilte Forderung des DGB ist ausdrücklich zu begrüßen. Der DGB fordert ein europäisches Zukunftsprogramm. Das Programm ist ein zentrales Instrument zur Reduzierung der wirtschaftlichen Ungleichgewichte und unterstützt auch den Abbau der Leistungsbilanzdefizite. Im Grundsatz ist dem nichts hinzuzufügen. Leider macht der DGB keine Angaben zum Umfang des Zukunftsprogrammes. Auch die Finanzierung lediglich mit Zwangsanleihen zu bestreiten ist viel zu wenig. DIE LINKE fordert ein Zukunftsprogramm für Deutschland von 125 Milliarden jährlich und eine europaweite einmalige Vermögensabgabe von möglicherweise 50 Prozent auf große Vermögen. Der DGB will in den Ländern mit einem hohen Leistungsbilanzüberschuss, insbesondere Deutschland, die Binnennachfrage durch höhere Masseneinkommen steigern.
