Das Finanzministerium legt mit seinem Bericht das Existenzminimum fest. Auch dieser Bericht ist vom Bestreben geprägt, das Existenzminimum kleinzurechnen. Dieses wird nach Kassenlage festgesetzt und folgt der Einsparungslogik. Das Grundrecht auf die Sicherung der Existenz und gesellschaftlichen Teilhabe hat sich aber nicht an der Kassenlage sondern am notwendigen Bedarf zu orientieren. Der Existenzminimumbericht ist kein Fall für das Haus Schäuble. Er gehört in die Hände einer unabhängigen Fachkommission.

Die stellvertretende Vorsitzende der LINKEN, Katja Kipping, kritisiert die geplante Anhebung des Hartz-IV-Regelsatzes um lediglich zehn Euro im Jahr 2012 als unzureichend. Das Existenzminimum werde nach Kassenlage berechnet.Die Vorsitzende des Sozialausschusses im Bundestag fordert die Einrichtung einer unabhängigen Expertenkommission zur Berechnung des Regelsatzes. Kipping erklärt:

Eine Anhebung des Regelsatzes um lediglich zehn Euro wäre vollkommen ungenügend. Es liegt auf der Hand, dass die grundlegenden Mängel der Regelsatzberechnung nicht behoben worden sind. Mit allen Mitteln wird das Existenzminimum kleingerechnet und nach Kassenlage festgelegt.

Das Grundrecht auf die Sicherung der Existenz und gesellschaftlichen Teilhabe hat sich aber nicht an der Kassenlage sondern am notwendigen Bedarf zu orientieren. Das Existenzminimum ist kein Fall für die Ministerialbürokratie. Die Prüfung und Berechnung des Regelsatzes gehört in die Hände einer unabhängigen Expertenkommission.

At its base it points to a philosophy that puts the state and collectivism before the individual and liberty. It is the polar opposite of the philosophy on which this country was founded. Um von dem Image-GAU ihres einstigen Prestigeprojekts abzulenken, dreht Ministerin von der Leyen an der Stigmatisierungsschraube. Eltern sollen zum Hartz-IV-Outing über eine aufsuchende Sozialarbeit gezwungen werden. Dabei werden die zweifelhaften Segnungen des Bildungs- und Teilhabepakets häufig deshalb nicht genutzt, weil die Eltern nicht wollen, dass die Vereine erfahren, dass ihre Kinder auf Hartz IV angewiesen sind, oder sie nicht die Fahrtkosten zum Vereinsangebot aufbringen können.

Das Bürokratiemonster mit Stigmatisierungseffekten versagt, eine eigenständige Kindergrundsicherung zur Absicherung der Existenz und Teilhabe der Kinder und Jugendlichen muss her.

The Wallow Fire in Arizona, the largest in Arizona history, is still only half contained. The fire has destroyed everything in its path, over a half million acres so far. Not only are our tribal lands at stake (White Mountain & San Carlos Apaches, possibly Zuni, and some Navajo areas), but our non-native friends also need our help.

All the choppers, manpower, planes, and bulldozers are not enough. They need our help.

We are one Nation as Natives and our traditional prayers to the Creator as Natives can be very powerful, especially when we all connect our minds, hearts and our prayers across the miles and pray.
