Jason Burke of The Observer UK reports: "Air strikes in the British-controlled Helmand province of Afghanistan may have killed civilians, coalition troops said yesterday as local people claimed that between 50 and 80 people, many of them women and children, had died."

Besondere Kritik richte sich gegen die Entsendung der deutschen "Tornado"-Aufklärungsflugzeuge, teilte das Netzwerk Friedenskooperative am Mittwoch in Bonn mit. Bei den Ostermärschen wird auch für eine Beteiligung an den Protestaktionen zum G8-Gipfel Anfang Juni in Heiligendamm geworben.
