Japan also is seeking to more than DOUBLE the Minke Whales
Cull at the IWC meeting and add the First Time Since the Ban,
HUMPBACK Whales and FIN Whales to its KILLING .
Perhaps the most divisive issue at this year's IWC meeting is a
Proposal called the Revised Management Scheme (RMS).
It would set Whale Hunt Limits Even Higher. Dr. Nick Gales,
an Australian delegate on the IWC's scientific committee, says the
RMS would PAVE the WAY for COMMERCIAL WHALING.
It is SO SHOCKING to know that at least 2,137 WHALES
will be Killed This Year, with Norway catching 797, Iceland
25 and Japan 1,315. Japan, Norway and Iceland have killed more
than 25,000 whales since IWC moratorium took effect in 1986.
We, as Concerned Citizens, are Proposing the following 6 POINTS :
1: We urge all UN members to BLOCK JAPAN from becoming
a "Permanent Member" in the UN Security Council . This is the
only Last Approach which may Stop Japanese relentless Whaling
and Expanding. 20 YEARS OF WORLD WIDE PROTESTS
HAD COMPLETELY FAILED TO STOP JAPANESE CRUEL
WHALING ! Japan is right now "VOTE BUYING" many of
the nations in the form of "AID" in Asia, Africa and South
America to get them to Support Japanese attempt to Infiltrate into
the United Nations Security Council "Permanent" Member Seat.
We have No Doubt that IF Japan Infiltrates into the UN Security
Council, then Japanese "VOTE BUYING" will run Rampant in the
Security Council just like it did in the IWC (International Whaling
Commission). All Nations Should Recognize the Fact that A
