Dear Olle:  My comments to Marjorie are self-explanatory.

Assuming the persons with cancer and the more serious health problems are also the persons with electrical and/or phone items close to beds, even tho they may in fact be affected on some level by close proximity to masts/cellular antennae, high voltage powerlines, etc., the importance of having a BauBiologist conduct an in-home investigation is obvious.   See  www.createhealthyhomes.com   .

Statistics such as only 25% of persons near masts are developing cancer (assume considerations are also being given to development of other serious health problems such as M.S., Parkinsons, Alzheimers, Type II Diabetes, Lou Gehrig's Disease and more) are alarming but as is the case with living close to high voltage powerlines, the numbers are comparitively low.

Serious consideration should be given by governments and industry to fund homeowners in regard to mitigation such as documented evaluations of bedroom exposures with help in regard to mitigation (whether a tax credit or subsidy, etc.) for purposes of identifying relevant circuits in order to allow for turning off circuits to bedrooms at night (for those willing to do so) and also to identify and correct wiring errors and/or grounding problems that may be exacerbating effects of cellular antennae, wireless, high voltage lines, etc.

As you know, "proper white blood count studies" regarding close nighttime exposures, will then allow for evaluation of the more distant exposures.  Comparing "known effects" due to  close exposures and studying whether those same white blood cell changes occur as result of the more distant exposures is the most straight-forward, cost-effective, meaningful way to deal with reducing EMF/EMR-related toxicity.

While awaiting further studies, homeowners need to be informed of the above "prudent avoidance measures" as well as those involving high frequencies on electrical wiring, the importance of antioxidants in regard to adapting to our increasingly unhealthy environment, the various recommendations re safer use of cell phones and more.   See  www.safewireless.net  .

You and others know this -- Repacholi and those who choose to "keep the lid on" need to consider the calamitous nature of their work that, while most likely truthful in some respects, is carefully designed to minimize and deny rather than to help solve our "major health crisis!!!"     Best wishes  -  Joanne

Marjorie:   I have only reviewed a paragraph or two of this but am thinking "what if he is right?"    What if the real harm IS due to metal bedsprings/metal headboards and/or close proximity to electric meters or electric appliances and some telephone items close to beds and/or homes with transformers?

I have thought for a long time that persons reporting "sensitivity" as opposed to "rare immune/cancer" or even Type II Diabetes, M.S., Parkinsons, Alzheimers, etc. are perhaps correct in associating their allergic-type sensitivities to fluorescent lights, cellular antennae, powerlines, etc. but that the more damaging "actual diseases" are more likely than not caused by items close to beds.

Eileen O'Connor reported recently that she had a metal headboard on her bed.  She relates her breast cancer, however, to a nearby mast.  In other words, while close proximity to antennae/masts may be triggering allergic-type responses, a meaningful determination can not be made unless one knows what and how many electric or phone items are close to one's bed.

Glad to hear from you yesterday......I was starting to be concerned and know the contact info you gave me last time is not good (think friend lost use of his cell phone -- temporarily forgot his name but tell him I say "hello....")......    Joanne
