Following the residents demonstration against a mast
being proposed for the church steeple
at The Church of Saint Francis of Assisi, Freeman
Road, Friar Park, Wednesbury, the church
has agreed to hold a public meeting,
"to let residents hear first hand the facts about
the proposed mobile phone base station in the
church tower, to allow opponents and
supporters to be heard, and to hear about the health
implications from independent experts" !! Ha
The meeting will take place on
Thursday 12th July, 7.30 pm
Priory Family Centre
Dorsett Road
Friar Park
Wednesbury
WS10 0JG
One of those attending will be The
Director of Communications for the Diocese of Lichfield,
Gavin Drake, who we have spoken to before, and who
does not accept that there is any health
risk from masts or phones.
Anyone who can support the residents and w-a-r-t at
this meeting are welcome.
We need all the expert help we can get, as we
expect the operators to roll out their own people
who will no doubt endevour to blind the residents,
church and congregation with the usual crap.
