Call for Participation

The 5th COST 281 workshop will be held in Budapest, Hungary on November
15th and 16th, 2003, immediately following the 6th International
Congress of the European BioElectromagnetics Association (EBEA), which
will also take place in Budapest on November 13-15, 2003. The general
subject area for the COST 281 workshop will this time be "Mobile
Telecommunications and the Brain".

This subject has recently gained particular attention in the media
because the results of several controversial studies seem to indicated
that the electromagnetic fields of mobile phones can have a negative
effect on cognitive functions, cause brain damage, or induce brain
cancer. The bulk of research in this area, however, suggest that the
electromagnetic fields that emanate from mobile phones do not have a
negative effect on human health.

Goal of the workshop in Budapest is to provide a forum for specialists
and researchers working in this area to share their latest research, to
assess the scientific significance of the results of previous studies
especially regarding their consequences for human health, to discuss the
current state of the art, and to facilitate collaboration between
researchers in this field. Topics and subject areas to be presented and
discussed include but are not limited to:

· Influence of electromagnetic fields on the blood brain barrier.
· Influence of electromagnetic fields on cognitive functions.
· Epidemiological studies investigating a possible connection
between mobile phone use and brain cancer.
· Studies investigating effects that could characterize and explain
the non-specific disorders affected persons report about.

You are invited to submit proposals for presentations in these fields to
the COST 281 scientific secretary, Gerd Friedrich (friedrich@fgf.de, or
info@fgf.de).

You are also invited to suggest topics to be included in the workshop
program in addition to those mentioned above, or to participate in the
determination of the general character and structure of the workshop
(e.g. presentation vs. discussion sections). We intend to finalize the
general workshop program by end of august.

History has shown the very things that have accelerated civilized
societal growth has also contributed to its down fall and total
collapse! One might ask, what caused the fall of the Roman Empire? Well
Rome wasn't built in a day nor did it fall in a day, but in short I'll
explain why it fell. It was the invention of the aqueduct that gave
glamour to Rome as the most civilized society in the world.

Over a period of 500 years (from 312 BC to AD 226) 11 lead-lined
aqueducts were built to bring water to Rome from as far away as 57
miles. It was not until 27 B.C that Marcus Vitruvius Pollio, an
architect from 1st Century Rome, warned against using lead for making
pipes to bring drinking water into the city. "Water rushing over the
lead-lined aqueducts carried just enough of the harmful element to
slowly drive the entire population of Rome insane." Therefore, the
invention of the aqueduct contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire.

An analogy can be made with today's wireless industry and electrical
power grids that feed the homes in every civilized nation.

In the 25 years of its existence, personal wireless communications have
become one of the major sources of Electromagnetic field (EMF) or radio
frequency (RF) radiation. Those most susceptible to this new dominant
technology are clinically diagnosed with ES (electromagnetic sensitivity
syndrome). ES is a disorder whereby neurological and allergic-type
symptoms are brought on thru exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Symptoms may include but are not limited to: Headache, eye irritation,
dizziness, nausea, skin rash, facial swelling, weakness, fatigue, pain
in joints and/or muscles, buzzing/ringing in ears, skin numbness, abdominal
pressure and pain, breathing difficulty, and irregular heartbeat.
Additional symptoms have been reported in some individuals such as
balance problems, body and/or muscle spasms, convulsions, confusion,
depression, difficulty in concentrating, seizure, sleep disturbances,
and memory difficulties.

A host of conditions has been clustered under the umbrella of EMF
illnesses, often over looked is the growing number of birth defects and
mental disorders in children, not to mention the simple correlation
between cell phones and cancer! RF Radiation has shown to induce
accumulative damage on genetic information that opens the possibility of
thousands of medical disorders.

Just as the Romans adored their modern convenience of running water they
lacked the knowledge to understand the societal impacts of their
technical achievements. Today the conveniences of wireless voice and
data transmissions from cell phones to laptops flow just as smoothly as the
waters from roman aqueducts, and again most lack the knowledge to
understand the societal impacts of our modern wireless achievements.

Because of our EMF research, RF Safe has provided plausible scientific
theory on genetic hazards induced by non-ionizing levels of RF exposure.
These theories are currently supported in universities around the world.

The issue of medical implant or hearing aid device compatibility is a
fast growing public concern too. Many incompatibly problems still exist
between medical devices and wireless communications devices such as cell
phones, the effects range from noise interference to loss of functionality.

How interesting, Klaus, that the Observer article last week should
mention David Coggon. As you may know he is on record in the literature
(either the Lancet or the BMJ, I can't remember which) for saying there
is no evidence of adverse EMF bioeffects. He has also recieved a large
grant from Lawrie Challis 's directionally-biased fund for cellphone
research, and I have no doubt of the findings that Coggon will dutifully report.

That man (Coggon) was chosen by Surrey University to examine my PhD as
part of an ambush designed to fail me, after being told to re-examine me
by the University Visitor following a judicial review of my complaints.
Fortunately I found a typewritten note written by another examiner
pre-failing me - written before the viva! - , and hence I refused to
take the exam! This other (internal) examiner, one Jefferys, is a member
of the UK IEE (Institution of Electrical Engineers, who of course have a
vested interest in suppressing adverse EMF bio-effects research.

In general internal examiners are suposed to review the PhD candidate's
thesis in draft and make corrective suggestions before it is printed,
hence to make surer that the candidate will produce acceptable science,
but this character did the reverse!

This scandalous activity by Surrey University's Robens Institute is
explained by the fact the University get massive funding from the
National Grid who are based at nearby Leatherhead, and have done for
decades.

Perhaps, following the Observer's lead, we ought to open a separate
website chronicling these scandals? Equally, it may be said that such
antics have been a part of commercial politics since the days of the
Medicis or Macchiavelli. The only difference is in the 17thC they used
actual poison!

I have no objection to your copying this around the web, since it is high
time these shenanigans were exposed. Only this way and through media
attention can we get clean science into the frame.

As for HAARP, I have submitted a poster for the November EBEA meeting in
Budapest suggesting that ozone depletion may also derive from bashing it
from underneath with RF/MW for fifty years. This is another piece of
science which is being rigorously suppressed because if it got out the
public would go mad. You can see my submission on the EBEA website. But
with John Male (ex National Grid physicist) on the EBEA Board, they will
probably bin it!

If I am right, and I usually am, then the world will have to think about
restricting atmospheric RF broadcasting and telecoms transmissions at
night, unless they want to give us melanomas or burn us all with UV! The
harsh lessons of solar exposure were on the News last night when a
melanoma victom's story was featured, incidentally, so some sort of govt
inspired campaign is probably underway.

Please be advised that as of 7/11/03, my medical license has been
suspended for a year followed by 4 years probation for "practicing
medicine with a mental illness; said mental illness being the "delusion"
that there is a conspiracy against me. I have been ordered to undergo
"psychiatric treatment" for one year. (I will put as much of the 40 page
decision [which is 90% misinformation such as saying my son is in foster
care] as I can on my website by the end of the week). They admit that no
complaints have ever been filed regarding my treatment of patients. I
have also been ordered to release all of the records on my patients, [so
they can hunt the children down and catch them up on their vaccines].

I will now be a wholistic practitioner doing iridology and counseling
patients on detoxification techniques available over the counter.
However, I will not be able to write prescriptions, order diagnostic
tests, and most importantly, I will not be able to write medical
exemptions. I am sure that the exemptions I have written will be deemed
null and void.

20 years ago, when this was done to Dr. Revisci, his PATIENTS brought an
action against the medical board for depriving them of a unique
treatment available no where else. His patients won, and his license was
restored.

Although I will be bringing my own artice 78 proceeding in my case, I am
convinced that the fastest and most likely to succeed strategy is for
the patients/supporters/potential patients to bring their own suit.
Jennifer Grinberg (516-798-7642) will be organizing this effort to
restore the license of the only court qualified expert in VIDS in the country.

It is time for people to do more than "feel sorry" for me, it's time for
ACTION! Since the only people I can NOT write exemptions for are my son
& I, I will not be affected.

However, if nothing is done, when they come to your door and with that
Smallpox/SARS or whatever vaccine and your exemption is deemed invalid,
get ready to roll up your sleeve or go to the quarantine camps as per
the Model State Health Emergency Powers Act (already passed in NYS).

I have given all I can; the only thing left for them to take from me is
my mind (with psychiatric drugs). I await the response of those who I
have served.
