DANGEROUS DRUGS -- OR
"DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT?"
I have to wonder about the rate at
which prescription drugs are being reported to be linked to serious health
problems -- drugs for weight loss, drugs for bi-polar or other
anxiety and depression problems, drugs to lower cholesterol, drugs for
arthritis, drugs for gastrointestinal problems, and now Avandia, one of
the medications used to lower blood sugar -- all linked to heart attacks or other heart problems as well as other adverse
effects.
I wonder whether these drugs are
"becoming dangerous"
due to our increased EMF/EMR environment? I wonder how many
of the persons who have heart attacks related to certain medications are also
sleeping close to electric meters, electric appliances, gas meters, and some
telephone equipment?
Bob Held is just one of many who are writing about Avandia
concerns. His commentary and access to his website is
below.
We know that some persons are reporting improvement re lowering blood
sugar after installing filters to reduce high frequencies on electrical
wiring. See: www.stetzerelectric.com and
www.electricalpollution.com .
Scientist Roger Coghill has expressed concerns about electric
meters and electrical appliances close to persons' beds for many years. He
has formulated a number of "natural products" -- among
which, natural melatonin supplements are of primary
importance. See: www.cogreslab.co.uk and www.asphalia.co.uk
. As most know, low levels of melatonin
have been "genetically linked" to autism, Alzheimers and other
neurodegenerative disorders. Take care - Joanne

Dear Reader,
One of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the
world produced and released a drug that they knew was potentially damaging, and
the FDA approved it as well, knowing it was potentially damaging.
Drug companies and the FDA will not protect you. Your
government cannot protect you. And unfortunately, your doctor, though well
meaning but not being trained in nutrition and the appropriate use of vitamins
and minerals, cannot protect your health.
The only way you will ever be able to protect or
improve your health and the quality of your life is to take responsibility for
it yourself!
No one is going to do that for you!
Yes, it means reading,
learning, asking lots of questions; but isn't living a life of improved health
and vigor worth it?

Another Dangerous Drug that was
Approved by the FDA!
Recently a study was reported and then published regarding the health
hazards of the diabetic drug Avandia. It appears the dangers were known previously
by both the manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline and the Food and Drug Administration. Here
is a summary from several news sources covering the situation:
The
widely prescribed diabetes drug rosiglitazone (Avandia) has been linked to a
greater risk of heart attack and death. This is the result of an analysis of 42
studies involving a total of 15,560 patients who took Avandia and 12,283 who
were given other medications or a placebo.
The
analysis, completed by the Chairman of Cardio-vascular Medicine at the Cleveland
Clinic, that has now been published in the New England Journal of Medicine,
found that use of Avandia raised patients' risk of heart attack by 43% and
cardiovascular death by 64%.
The Food
and Drug Administration's own preliminary evaluation of the drug Avandia
confirmed the heart risks reported in the analysis and suggests that as many as
60,000 to 100,000 heart attacks might be linked to its use during the past 8
years.
The Food
and Drug Administration is now urging diabetics who take the drug to talk to
their doctors.
Drugs cannot heal the body because they are an alien substance in the
body. Yes, there are drugs that can kill bacterial infections, but they cannot
heal.
When taken, drugs will often suppress symptoms. For example, the high
blood sugar levels of a diabetic are only a symptom of the condition, they are
not the source of the problem.
The source of the problem can be addressed and reversed.
