"I have been collecting and integrating biological and
epidemiological
evidence from all around the world and will show that electromagnetic
radiation is a Ubiquitous Univeral Genotoxic Carcinogen that
is causing
massive increases in cancer, cardiac, neurological and reproductive
health effects in San Francisco and around the world.
If we set public health standards on this evidence then we
could
significantly reduce sickness in families in San Francisco
and lead the world."

"Upregulation of heat shock proteins (Hsps) is a normal
defence response
to a cellular stress. However, chronic expression of Hsps
is known to
induce or promote oncogenesis, metastasis and/or resistance
to
anticancer drugs.
We propose that repeated exposure to mobile phone radiation
acts as a
repetitive stress leading to continuous expression of Hsps
in exposed
cells and tissues, which in turn affects their normal regulation,
and
cancer results. This hypothesis provides the possibility of
a direct
association between mobile phone use and cancer."

A
Message from Susan Clarke concerning defeating Sprint and
other
carriers
Dear Radi -
Once again, many of us have successfully defeated Sprint and
the other
carriers, repeatedly.
The digital wireless Build-out began in the big cities in
1996 (first in
DC and NYC), then spread from East to West, across the US.
We began resisting antenna placement early in 1997 - over
SIX YEARS ago.
So we have considerable experience.
We have always used health science - despite the many uneducated
lawyers
and fearful activists who tried to stop us. No one can stop
anyone from
putting relevant, reliable science on the public record. Period.
Where
we claimed the scientific consensus, we won. That is why the
carriers
are so insistent on abusing Section 704 and the lone, controversial,
unlawful and unsupported 2nd Circuit decision. They don't
want you to
play trump.
Best wishes at & prior to your hearing,
Susan Clarke
A
measured response letter to Chernobyl nuclear disaster
Hi Klaus: Below is from THE IRISH TIMES, May 13, 2002.
"EFFECTS OF CHERNOBYL DISASTER
Madam, - There is a serious lack of clear information about
the effects
of the Chernobyl explosion on the children of Ukraine, Belarus
and
Russia. This problem has three distinct sources.
The first is the group of nuclear apologists keen to propagate
a system
of energy production which, as is clear to anyone who has
spent time in
Belarus, has done massive damage to the people of the country,
both
medically and psycho-socially.
Secondly, some aid agencies and certain sections of the media
continue
to exploit child suffering in an effort to increase and maintain
fund-raising efforts. They mistakenly think that a desire
to do good
work
furnishes them with a licence to adapt the truth to help their
cause.
The third source of confusion is the Belarussian Government,
and in
particular President Alexander Lukashenka, who has frustrated
the
efforts of scientists trying to analyse the exact extent of
the damage
from Chernobyl.
I respectfully suggest that anyone interested in finding
out the reality
of the consequences of Chernobyl should talk to one of the
many
Belarussians--adults or children--living in Ireland. In the
main they
will offer a frank and honest assessment of the current situation.
Is mise,
RORY McDAID, Clybaun Road, Knocknacarra, Galway.
