Last night’s interview with Dr. Paal Brekke who is the Deputy Director of the SOHO Project stationed at NASA Goddard Space Center, flat out endorsed my “Equation”. If you could have seen the look on my face having taken the risk to ask Dr. Brekke directly and without hesitation of what he thought of my premise suggesting there was a short-term causal effect between solar events and our (Earth’s) weather. Well let’s just say I was giving high fives to thin air, but it felt like a thunderclap. You may ask why such excitement? Because as with all peer reviews, you never know what the reaction ! of highly esteemed colleagues who are at the top of their field will bring. In short, in a two minute period last night I put my reputation on the line. Yes, it was one of those moments when you feel like you are standing in front of the class room in your underwear.

But it gets even better…I spent another five minutes making my case that many scientist have published highly regarded data showing a distinct Sun-Earth connection as it relates to “climate”. Dr. Brekke quickly agreed with this statement. Then I suggested to Brekke that my research goes beyond the currently known theoretical facts as related to “climate” meaning measurements in decades, centuries, and millennia. I took another breath and laid out my theory of a Sun-Earth Connection related to “weather”, meaning a causal effect measured in hours, days, and weeks.

At first there was a pause, my chest tightened, my legs became tense, my back straightened stiff, then the answer came. “Yes Mitch, I would agree with you. There are many scientists who are looking into this more immediate reaction. There are many scientists who are now studying the Northern Pacific Oscillation.” What Dr. Brekke just laid out is the second portion of my Equation. To this point we have discussed: Sunspots => Solar Flares (CME’s) => Earth’s Magnetic Field Shift => Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents. Northern or Southern Pacific Oscillation better known as NPO or SPO simply means “shifting ocean and jet stream currents”.

Sunspots -> Solar Flares (CME’s) -> Magnetic Field Shift -> Shifting Ocean and Jet Stream Currents -> Extreme Weather and Human Disruption (mitch battros)

Dr. Paal Brekke took a few minutes to discuss a most recent event. It was just two weeks ago when a consortium of scientist from the University of Colorado made a stunning announcement. According to Research Associate Cora Randall of CU-Boulder's Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, nitrogen oxide and nitrogen dioxide gases in the upper stratosphere climbed to the highest levels in at least two decades in spring 2004. The increases led to ozone reductions of up to 60 percent roughly 25 miles in altitude above Earth's high northern latitudes, said Randall. "This decline was completely unexpected, and was caused as a result of chemical reactions triggered by energetic particles from the Sun”

Well well, need I tell you which direction our interview had taken. That’s right, straight into an even more sensitive arena…so called “global warming”. As outlined above, I took a deep breath and laid out my thoughts about the environmental zealots and their propaganda of manipulation and lies. Again, this was a great risk to myself not having a clue of how such a well esteemed highly placed scientist would react to my harsh statements and of course to be judged by hard line scientific facts. And here is Dr. Brekke’s response: “The original “hockey stick” which all this global warming was based as brought forward by Michael Mann, is bad data. Whole climate time periods were left out. They erased entire centuries of climate related to the Medieval mini-Ice age. It is now safe to say this so-called “hockey stick” is broken”. We quickly agreed that the “climate always changes”, and has d! one so for the life of this planet, with or without humans.

Dr. Brekke does acknowledge it is very difficult to distinguish what percentage is caused by the Sun and what percentage is cause by humans. A general premise would suggest as according to Dr. Brekke it may be 70% caused by the Sun and 30% caused by humans. But this was a general statement made to give an example of confusing hypostasis. But that is Dr. Brekke’s assumption, as for myself and not having the monolith such as NASA breathing down my neck, I easily step forward and say… all current research suggest something closer to 3% to 12% of the current warming trend is human induced. By far the majority of what we see unfolding today and in the near future is 88% to 97% solar induced. There is one area Dr. Brekke and myself more closely agree…the IPCC is a “joke” filled with self-centered, self-seeking, agenda driven, cloaked lobbyist who have no vested interest in science. No, what drives this team of fascist zealots is simpl! y MONEY.

The connection between “real” climate/weather and so-called global warming is a lie. There is no connection. As I stated in a previous article, we could shut down every massive polluter in the world, and the Earth would still go through its natural warming and cooling cycles. But we certainly would have cleaner air and water… And who would not be for that! So folks once again let me shed some light on trickery bestowed upon you by Karl Rove like manipulators. What they based their very clever strategy, or I should say strategery (bubba), is the same principal which successfully manipulated you into believing Iraq was the cause of 9-11. It was this same exact model used by the environmental zealots. It goes like this: Lets create evil. We’ll call them the “evil doers”. Then we can sell this to the ‘lemming’ public and tell them are freedom is being attacked. Then I will draw a line in the sand and say: “You are either with me (go! od), or you are with the evil doers (bad)”. You are either with me (IPCC fascist zealots), or you are with the evil doers (polluters).

Yes folks it is true. It really is this easy to trick and manipulate American citizens, and to a lesser degree, World citizens. I wish I could say this is a unique situation, but history tells us otherwise. Just like everything else, empires have cycles too. Prior to, and during Julius Caesar’s reign over the Roman Empire, Rome was believed to be impenetrable. She was the model for the world to replicate in her image. I have no doubt Caesar himself often used terms such as “eliminate the evil doers”. This being just one day past March 15^th, written in history as the Ides of March, I think we all know how this story ends.

In this war over the hearts and minds of the worlds opinion over so-called global warming, the first victim has clearly become “science itself”. Scientific data has been hijacked for the use of personal agenda’s. As we have witnessed over this last decade seeing corporate funded organizations with highly paid scientist coming forward and spoon feeding you erroneous data telling you that “you” are the cause of our wicked weather. It is “you” who are causing earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, floods, and yes, it was “you” who caused the Indian Ocean tsunami killing half a million people. The message is clear: “We must attack and eliminate the “evil doers” who are killing the good people. So we better pass laws and stop them before they destroy the Earth”

Then the savor is introduced (1 to 3 years from now)… Hi, I’m from Shell Oil. I’m here to save you. Yes, we have new developments that can clean water and suck the CO2 and other fossil fuel pollutants right out of the air. In fact, my partners BP Oil, Standard Oil, GM, and Ford have all come forward at this very time to help you. We wanted you to know we stand firmly behind you...(former ‘lemming’, now wise consumer). We are here to put ourselves on the front line to fight the ‘evil doers’. And guess what, we can do all this for only 70 trillion dollars. Oh don’t worry, we can just tax you a small amount to subsidize or miracle technology which we developed to save you. Oh, and rest assured my 63 million dollar salary is already factored in.

That’s right, I am tell you it is the fascist cooperate conglomerates who are the promoters of the very environmental zealots they pretend to fight. Now how wicked is this! And unfortunately look how successful this model has been. It is an old formula used to “initiate” then “defend” wars. But perhaps even more related…just think tobacco! Now do you get the picture?

All work and no play makes Mitch a dull boy

Hey folks, I thought it was time to display the “other side of Mitch”. Yes, the path I have chosen can certainly be described as intense, hard driven, vigilant, frenetic, and even dangerous. So I thought I would show you some of my more playful interest…

Mitch Loves To Ride!!!

 I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was 13 years old. My first bike was a Honda Mini-Trail. It was one step up from most my friends ‘mini-bikes’ with their Briggs & Straton 5 hp engines. Then onto a Honda 70, then a Yamaha 90 twin-jet. My first big bike was a Kawasaki 650 4 cyl. in 1977. I had just finished my second year of college, so I thought it was time to see the world…and do it on a bike. Off I went for 2 ½ months. I put on 11,300 miles that summer. Mostly camped out at state and national parks. But about every 7 to 10 days I stay in a hotel just to remember what hot and cold running water was like. In 1984 I bought a Yamaha Maxim 750. Never did like that bike. I found I am most fond of Kawasaki. Yeah, I know, many of my friends tried to get me to! go HD, but I’m sorry folks, I favor comfort or ‘style’.

That brings me to today. I now ride my Kawasaki ‘Voyager’ 1300 6 cyl. It is a full dressed touring bike. It is so comfortable, I best be careful not to fall asleep while taking her out on a long trek.

I also like sports. I use to run 10 k’s and a one time ½ marathon (13 miles), but my knees gave out over time, and now you’ll find me on my second set of two wheels…my mountain bike

Much of Dr. Brekke’s work focuses on dynamical aspects of the solar atmosphere and measuring variations of solar UV radiation. Since the launch in December 1995, he has been part of the science operation team at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. He joined the European Space Agency (ESA) in January 1999 as the SOHO Deputy Project Scientist stationed at NASA/GSFC.

Thursday March 17^th - Dr. Dave Tholen: Astronomer - University of Hawaii. We will discuss NASA’s “Deep Impact” project and possible “unintended consequences. Dr. Tholen states: “Recently, I have started tackling the difficult problem of finding asteroids with orbits whose aphelion (greatest distance from the Sun) coincides with the Earth's orbit. Tuesday March 22nd - Dr. Ronald van der Linden: Director of Solar Physics Department of the Royal Observatory of Belgium. Dr. van der Linden research focuses on the permanent monitoring and the characterization of the solar activity in the optical, radio and far UV and also on the study of the solar cycle. His research also highlights the heating and acceleration of the solar wind, the acceleration of energetic particles, and the formation and propagation of transients like CMEs and induced shocks from their birth in the solar corona up to their arrival at the Earth's magnetosphere.

Thursday March 24^th - Dr. Stefaan Poedts: Lead Scientist Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Center for Plasma Astrophysics. The CPA mission comprises the study of waves, instabilities, flows, shocks, heating, and acceleration of magnetic plasmas in the Sun (atmosphere, wind, ...), other stars, galactic disks, accretion disks, magnetospheres, and thermonuclear fusion machines. His research is situated in the field of co! mputational and nonlinear Magnetohydrodynamics  with applications in 'solar ! ! astrophysics'. He is particularly interested in MHD wave dynamics (generation, propagation, and dissipation) of coronal loops, coronal holes, galactic and extra-galactic jets, and galactic and accretion disks and in the nonlinear dynamics of Coronal Mass Ejections and super-fast magnetized flows around comets, moons, and planets and the MHD shock interactions in such flows (related to space weather).
