Film showing questions about health problems and phone masts aimed at the World Health Organisation.

Take a look at the short film recorded by the French Next-up campaign group taken at the recent EU meeting in Brussels, click on the link to website and scroll down to the film which is flashing at the bottom of the page marked under construction, listen to two of the many questions I raised, there is a short one second gap between the two questions.

Question 1

I would like to know why the WHO website statement is saying there are no short term or long term effects around phone masts when this clearly does not reflect the research that is available.  The Phone Industry use the WHO statement in the media as a badge of approval. I wanted to know why they can give out a false statement when EHS people clearly feel the short term effects from phone masts and they simply haven’t looked at the long term effects yet; The public are now reporting many cancer clusters around phone masts after long term exposure and this should be cause for concern and should be reflected within the WHO website.

The WHO representative could not give an answer saying he was not aware of this research.  Take a look at the graph on the open letter to WHO from JeanLuc, the graph was taken from the WHO website, this clearly is not mentioned in their statement about phone masts, this is not acceptable.

Question 2

Refers to doctors in Germany and Israel confirming a threefold, fourfold and a tenfold increase in cancers in women around phone masts up to 400 metres compared to people living further away.  I didn’t get a satisfactory answer to this either which is simply not good enough!

Read the open letter to WHO Dr van Deventer from JeanLuc Guilmot. JeaLuc raised the same question over and over again at the EU meeting saying 80% of peer reviewed and published research around phone masts confirms health problems, he invited WHO to show us the research demonstrating phone masts are safe, no one could answer his question.
