RE: STOP ABUSING OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.
Dear Senator,
The Neo-Cons and Right Wing fanatics in our Government and US
Congress again want to strengthen the Patriot Act and even create
a new "Domestic Intelligence Agency" ("SECRET POLICE") to endanger
Americans' CONSITUTIONAL RIGHTS as well as suppress and
threaten millions of Americans who have different Political Views.
Due to the severe infringement of U.S. citizens' Constitutional Rights,
we urgently request our Congress for the following pleas :
1 : We OPPOSE Section 505 of the U.S. Patriot Act .
We do NOT want our government's unchecked authority to issue
"National Security Letters" to obtain sensitive customer records
from Internet Service Providers (ISP) and other businesses
without Judicial Oversight.
Section 505 of the Patriot Act destroys FREE SPEECH RIGHTS
under the U.S. First Amendment as well as the right to be FREE
FROM UNREASONABLE SEARCHES under the U.S.
FOURTH AMENDMENT.
We also Oppose a broad gag provision in the law as an
"unconstitutional prior restraint" on U.S. Free Speech.
2: We OPPOSE any "SECRET POLICE" in the U.S. soil.
We DEMAND that Congress NOT pass any additional
"INTRUSIVE" law enforcement powers to suppress the
U.S. Constitutional Rights of the American public.
3; We do NOT want legislation, such as Section 215 of the
Patriot Act, which allows government agents access to files of
American libraries and booksellers without probable cause."
Section 215 violates several parts of the U.S. Constitution, and
opens the door to government intrusions and violations of Civil Rights.
4: Please Repeal the U.S. Patriot Act II. Some fanatic Neo-Con
type and Right Wing fanatic Congressional members over-reacted
to 9/11. They even use 9/11 as an Excuse to suppress millions
of Americans who have different political opinions.
