Looks like Ohio officials are now saying that it will take ten days for the provisional votes to be counted. After that time, legally speaking, if Kerry wins the majority of those votes, he will win the electoral college votes for Ohio. At that point, legally speaking, he will be declared winner of the Presidential election, regardless of his concession speech.
This is according to an official in Ohio responsible for counting up the final vote tallies.
Remember, Kerry is only trailing behind in Ohio by about 120,000 votes, and over 250,000 provisional votes are said to still be floating about. Exit polls conducted by expert pollster Zogby and others indicated a potential Kerry win in Ohio. In fact, early on the evening of the election, reporters were already calling the state for Kerry.
Read about it here, and spread this info far and wide, because the major media is simply choosing to ignore these facts, as if the legality of this election is a moot point. What's THAT about, folks?
I personally feel that everyone, whether Democrat or Republican, cat or dog, or something in between, deserves to know this information about the final vote tally, in order to have "closure" and move on, one way or another.
