Update on campaigns from Norway

In January the Norwegian government announced its plan to kill five of the country's wolves - a quarter of the entire population

We called on you to appeal to the Norwegian Environment Minister to save the wolves. More than 11,500 emails were sent to the Minister, helping generate media interest and public support.

Unfortunately, we did not succeed in stopping the hunt. While we have lost the battle, the war is not over! WWF, together with other Norwegian NGOs, have sued the Norwegian State. Read more

Petition against illegal logging

Support WWF's Switzerland's campaign to stamp out illegal wood

In more than 70 countries loggers illegally raid the forests. In regions such as South-East Asia, Central Africa and Russia, a large amount of the wood is logged illegally.

Switzerland is also involved in the trade in illegal timber. A WWF report reveals that over 8% of Swiss wood imports are from illegal or suspect sources.

Help ban the import and use of illegal wood in Switzerland. Take action now
